I think you need to end the series at 5. I feel that 5 strayed a bit too far from it's roots that made it a game that let it's mark. I love 1-4, 5 is ok..but it feels like a different game.

This series was great up until the 4th, sure it was an improvement from the 3rd buy the gameplay was practically the same, and this one is like taking 1 step forward but 2 steps back. WE get experience and items but we lose the option to get more than 1 hero and the graphics have went down the drain IMO, btw the hero is actually useless in this one because if he/she dies you lose. It's hard to get into a game where you change the speed to x3 press attack and command your hero to wait at your end and just sit there for 2 minutes, it was a fun series but in the direction it's going I don't wanna see an Epic War 6.

@ L30Bola and dustins111. in EW 3 and 4 it was usually better to leave the hero at the base in later stages or they would die swiftly. part of the tactics involved in the game I think. if the heroes were always just BA there'd be no need of the other units.

A good game overall I would like you to be able to play all 3 and have them have different unlock able units so you have more reason to play threw everyone. Also I agree with the other commenter that your hero eventually just sits at the front of the battle and casts a spell or 2 since most of the challenge bosses can kill the heroes in a few hits. Overall a good game but I think the earlier ones were better. Keep up the good work.

I beat the game before the fixed the unit thing and now i have no idea on what to battle over for the rest of the units someone plz send a messege or somthing to me what i should attack

Too much idle time spent waiting for forces and energy to fill up in the beginning of each level. How about just starting us off with a full army and energy.

For the Collosus use 3 fast little and many creep units like hobits and goblins and 3 ranged units. That should do the trick.

Great addition to the Epic War series. During the trials you can use golem with every other slot filled with ranged characters. Use rage and shield spells and occasionally a wall at the feet of boss to slow him down. The enemys will fall and you will emerge victorious punk.

maxed out archer and centurions white tiger death and then black dragon and iron fortress vs iron fortress he wont get past half way keep hitting him with death's meteor

Is there going to be any updates that involve more levels more units and more upgrades would really make this game abit more

Iron Fortress: This guy pissed me off a lot, since his area attack will utterly destroy most ranged attackers(and those of you following my posts here know I LOVE them) in one hit(barring Shield and heal/regen). Run your hero past him(only when he gets to the leftmost screen of the stage), so that he throws his trash to the right instead. Same deal as Inferno, you want the shots to pummel him from behind. Also, bombard his magic-weak rear with Meteors or whatever offensive spell you have, while he's advancing. Alternatively, if you have a lot of the mini-mobs(Gobs, Hobs, Bombers), keep them death-marching. They'll force him to keep pausing to shoot, giving your artillery that little bit more time to chip away. If you can get him to the last 1/5th of his health by the time he hits the leftmost screen, you should be golden for the Hero Distraction tactic above.

Note: The Hero is NOT useless. In a couple of stages(Notably, Inferno{Extra 8} and Iron Fortress{Trial 2}), the boss will track you down almost to the exclusion of all others.
Inferno will always blaze forwards, past all your defenders(golems are near useless here!), so when he comes close enough, charge your hero through(backed up by Shield and Heal/Regen), and he'll chase you, allowing your ranged attackers to pile up from your spawn point, attacking him. Keep your hero healthy, and Inferno WILL fall.

spells seem to have a level....mostly level one.
how about you make the spells upgradable? level them up? each level up will cost more points.
that way you also kinda take care of the overdo of skillpoints, if you know what i mean.

Good. But I really liked 1 & 2 better. 3 was OK. This one is just too far away from the original idea. As a game... cool. As Epic War... totally different and I'm not a fan of that. 3/5

I think the game is far too easy so far... Ok I was defeated twice because I did not look out for my hero. But I did not train by repeating any of the missions. Are the Trials getting any harder later on. I'm in Lvl4 rigth now and still just max out my units than all out attack with some heal. No problem so far except for being to stupid to watch out for my hero :)

chubbafuzz: I agree....i think they should have stats like strength,health, etc. This would be better cuz you wont have excess and useless xp...........
