Having the game over if the Hero dies once is kind of lame.
You also need to have more to do during the actual level, maybe a larger mana pool with more spells with varying mana costs.

I like this versions graphics alot, though it could perhaps use a little antialias to fine tune the sharper edges of units, or less blackness around the edges of units perhaps. -

I like that you redid the graphics with mobile players in mind and I love that you added speed-up options and more unit customization.

I've been having issues getting the game to start. When I click play game it flashes but doesn't do anything else. Anyone else having issues with the play button?

I am a big fan of previous Epic Wars, so please don't take this in anyway a comment of disrespect. I think your have reached your peak and are starting to digress here. The game is totally kick-butt, but not quite so much as some of the previous versions of this game. Maybe the series is just going stale for me, I don't know.
I give you high ratings anyway. I appreciate the hard work and effort that went into it, and certainly deserves a minimum of 4/5 stars when compared to other 4 star games on congregate.
Your awesome and I can only hope someday to make a game this fun.

if i get yelled at or any thing i dont care but honestly this wasnt what i expected i thought this would have similar hero and unit formations beacause i liked three heros and then 6 units i also liked spawning and how if a hero died you got it back faster then you do this time.

This is more like a My Little Army with an Epic War touch in it. The hero is much to valuable to actually use in combat, thus rendering him useless. Keep the art, I like it. Keep the building making units, its good. But just make everything a bot more like epic war. I wanna defend my castle. not my hero.

Ill gather my thoughts in a list:
+ the epic music, the item equipment system, different attack styles of units (nice to see on the battlefield later on), nice art, extreme differences conc. size of units ( ->epicness, like in the other parts of the series)
- the font (e.g. the one in the intro) looks cheesy in my eyes, too much clicking is necessary to buy skills equip units and navigate through the menus in general, missing a comfort function to deselect a unit ( like clicking the upper part of the screen), skill selection during battle is badly placed ( to close to the battlefield), mouseover-infotags and minimap would be great ( I personally miss the castles but thats a matter of taste I assume)

just a couple of suggestions.
add the exp reward for repeating a level to the description before entering.
allow more upgrades to units

i find it good that it have a speed increase button and group select but the units need more hp i find it unfair that the other got large damage and large hp bosses and units but they kill you easy and the hero really need more hp or this is just stupid

it is a good game but it doesnt seem to have the "zing" of the other games, theres no strategy- all i do is select everything bar hero and spam them at the enemy. I do miss the mana but i can see the sense in the units spawning over time but even that takes away from the whole strategy feel of it. Where has my castle gone with all its many upgrades and hilarious crossbows? Even the unlocks feel like they are handed to me on a plate, i realise that all this probably changes once the game actually gets going more but i'm not sure if theres enough to keep it going up untill then, i am sorry because i loved all epic war games from the begining but this one may be going slightly too far in the wrong direction... i mean i've left it playing in the background while writing this and have won 3 levels without any further input... i hope things get back to their wonderful self in #6 =]

i have find a bug that sometimes, without me doing anything, that my minions sometimes use spells, or attack without me telling them to : / , that is a big problem (INCLUDING MY HERO GETTING KILLED CUZ HE RUSHES IN ON HIS OWN!!!!!)

Well this is my second comment about this game, after few hours, with fresh mindset - but nothing changed. The game is easy, very easy, difficulty curve is light and no strategy is involved. You don't need strategy, just patience, keep your hero tucked in on your side and send your, upgraded often, troops to attack, eventually you will win every-single-map, without even looking. The Devil at last story map is laughable, not only he looks silly, but he's slow and can't attack units right next to him. After you kill the half-bosses, the Devil is not ANY KIND of problem. Challenges are not really problematic either, keep doing what you did and - with some patience - you will win 100%. Overall the game doesn't feel any kind of "epic", maybe consider renaming it "Constant Combat", cause there is no war, there is just combat and certainly not epic. 3/5

Alright, i've done only one battle and see an issue with the hero, i chose Viegraf, basically he keeps yelling "i will destroy you" like every hit, gets abit annoying, also when he attacks he shifts forward slightly, which when fighting stationary creatures or structures, he really wants to glitch through them and then have a fit and turn around, me personally, i'd prefer if he stood like a statue and swung, more predictable that way.

Here I am, disappointed again... It is not that this is a bad game, it's just that it doesn't follow true to the original games at ALL. Where did the mana summons units feature go? Where did the crossbow go? Where did the CASTLES go? It's as if I'm not even playing Epic War any more. Trying to change things for the better is alright, but if the original game wasn't broken, you don't need to fix it. I was really hoping for you to stay true to EW1 and EW2, because I enjoyed them the most BY FAR. I was hoping you would, instead of changing the entire idea of the game, would just add new features, new storylines, and new challenges with each game. Hopes are crushed again and again as each game has even less to do with the previous game than the previous game had to do with the one before it. Again, this isn't a bad game, but PLEASE MAKE EW6 LIKE ONE AND TWO AGAIN. 4/5.

Well, I won, but though it wounds me deeply to say this, this release does leave me with a happy feeling. A "extremely" low difficulty curve removes the need for strategy: one can win every map by simply by sending all their units forward and keeping their hero swaddled in baby clothing far away. The writing for the plot was, well, There didn't seem to be much of a plot. The hero is so weak that it simply cannot prudently take part in any battles outside of the first three, which made me sad: one cannot send them into boss fights because you'll lose if they die. I can't be too hard on the Dev. the more successful a series becomes, the more the best parts are removed and replaced with flashy new things that don't quite work. nuke-proof refrigerators, alien skulls, and Jar Jar Binks are examples of this. this is still a very good game, but it has such great potential that has been phased out in this release, and is scarcely a fraction of what it could be.

personally prefer epic war 4 because of the upgrade system. You could see all the characters and hero's from the same menu instead of having to faf around with accessories and an upgrade tree (lines?).

is it just me or can you not see half the battle?
i personally enjoyed the graphics, although the game play is still the usual hit a button and wait.

Can't quite figure out how to beat the Extra Mission 8. Fire guy keeps going forward with his attack and not returning to his spot. Meaning my units end up being behind him. And that he slaughters my pathetically weak hero before I even get him to 50%.
