i dont like saying it rudy but i agree with d swabey. the graphics might be better but i dont feel like i am playing epic war. the upgrade system feels off. like items and all the different units. It is a good game, but not an epic war game. 2/5 because i swore i would never give one of your games 1/5

I've been following the Epic War games since the first, and I've played them all very extensively. I think that it could of been a little better as it was a far cry from the first, but I enjoyed it very much. Keep up the good work Rudy, these games have come a long way.

guys! this game just came out! give it a break, every game has small problems... ok sometimes big problems but give it some time and it'll be fixed

I quickly learned that all I had to do was keep my hero back and rush with every other minion, and suddenly the game played itself. You can do this all the way up until the end of the story, and even then I've only had cast spells while at the bosses of the extra levels. Overall: Many new features that are amazing, I like this style of exp gain compared to the previous ones, interface is easy. I have seen the developer talk of putting it on mobile, which is my guess why it is so easy to beat. As a mobile game I believe it to be a good time waster with some fun involved, but as a computer game it just doesn't meet up to the previous Epic War standards. I would suggest one less minion able to be on the field, this alone could change how the game plays in difficulty and may set it at a correct position.

Really was expecting something better. The other epic war games all improved upon each other. This is like epic war 3.5.

I have to disagree with the other opinions currently uprated. I feel like the graphics are indeed the best so far, especially the spell animations, and game still "feels" like an EW game. Story? Who plays EW for story? :P. The unit customization actually improved by giving more variety with skill trees and item equips for indiv. units, but it is a bit clunky and annoying to scroll through pages. I don't miss the drag and click ability at all; it was WAY too hard to drag boxes when there were just huge clumps of units everywhere. I DO want a minimap back sometime, though. My biggest complaint is that the game is too easy - the other games had revenge waves, etc. that made it hard to win without using spells and heroes correctly, but making hero death a lose condition just makes it too easy to speed up x3 and press X to charge with everything except the hero and wait a few minutes until victory.

stuff isn't explained very well, but i figured it out and it ended up fantastic. we need and epic war six within two or three years!!!!

Hey Rudy, I love all ur games but i feel this game was rushed. I would just like to say that a rushed game will never be like, a later game will eventually be liked.

One of the things I'd like to comment on is the menus and UI. The previous Epic Wars made it easy and intuitive to equip units, upgrade, select levels, and best of all, it looked good. Here... it takes half an hour to upgrade and arrange your units, the level selection screen is just plain weird, I've got no idea how to save or load my game...

i wish there was a way to tell who was getting what exp and from killing what. so if i wanted to train one person i could

also, use the upgrade system from 4 next time, chosing your own units was epic fun, that is of course if you make another

Tip: Once you've completed level 10, do it once more, give up and you should have a second weapon without having to defeat the level again :) I'm sure this is repeatable on any stage with any item.

New strategy for the Colossus. Instead of using the Iron Fortress, you can use Death's Meteor 2. It does some nifty damage.

I miss the upgrading and character building stuff. In my person preference, that was one of the best things about previous Epic War. I don't even understand how to get XP in this one or even how to spend it (if I get it at all).

A bit dissapointed if I may say. I expected this sequel to give me as much trouble at passing levels as the last ones did,but honestly in all runs I only failed once.Too easy, heroes useless expect for the use of their abilities which are very helpful, but the game isn't bad, quite good actually

Instant thoughts: Graphics are decent, different style and less "Epic Lag" as people always call it. Accessories for each unit is a golden idea, this adds a lot of ability to the game and customization. Fog of war is a nice touch, in previous ones there really wasn't a reason to have that since everything spawned as it came, but this adds a new touch of challenge to the game. The loss on hero death is a big change, and very well needed in this game. Instead of just losing a strong power on the team with a hero death, you lose the match.

Sometimes, the enemy (and your units) get passed the edge of the screen, and you can't move the screen to keep up with them.

I would say that the only real issue for me is the lack of enemy activity. There is very little to stop you just sending all your troops ahead and leaving your boss at home. In EW3, you had to be proactive from the get go to hold your own, never mind win!

Oh and by the way, for those who need help with Inferno. Walls stop him for two attacks, Castles for three. He can't pass through them. As for Colossus, maxed Goblin, Hobbit, Dwarf Engineer, Minotaur, Iron Fortress and Elf Hunter. Move your Hero as to the left as possible, send your units, place a castle and three towers (fire, ice or thunder will do, he's immune to everything anyway) as to the left as possible, and use Volcano Burst or any one-hit spell on the gorillas. If you keep focused, you should win after half an hour or so.

Okay, most of the commenters obviously haven't played the game. The game HAS a mute button, the graphics ARE better (except the goblins who are ripped off whatever every game on Internet that has goblins ripped it off from), and the game DOES require strategy later on. Of course the story is easy, it's always been in every EW game. The real game starts after the story is over, as it's always been in every EW game. Instead of nagging about how easy it is, actually play the game. Play the extra & trial levels and try to C+N Inferno & Colossus. You have to adjust which units you'll pick, which items they'll hold, how you should level them. You have to watch the field to know when to cast that Volcano Burst, where and when to place a castle, a wall or a tower. Seriously guys, think before posting.
