1 - The game lacks strategy ingame, all the units move until they find and enemy and then simply hit it. I cant tell my centaurs to get a bit closer so they can harm more units! All you do is wait for all your troops to deploy, and have a full mana pool, press "x" and wait while you cast some spells.
2 - AWESOME that you can build towers! But you should be able to destroy older towers, since you can get only 4.
3 - The Graphics "in game" are really MUCH better than later versions, but the graphics in the rest are really poor (exept the illustrations and the world map).
4 - The Upgrade screen is a bit confusing... Maybe clicking on the unit and THEN you can chose between an equipment tab or the skills tab.
5 - I should be able to mute the game before getting to the world map!
6 - The storytelling in the beginning could use some illustrations since you are using some awesome illustrator in the start screen =P

i'm 40,040th person to see this game, but my pc is so laggy that there must be already 1000 people that came in this page and already played(i think it must be epic), i guess i'll only rate ew5 tomorrow cuz the lag

Just set the thing to 3x speed permanently when I change it please. There's a reason i want to run it at that speed every time.

how do i say this, in my opinoin the epic war sereas has bin in a raped inclonashon of asomness for the last one. no 1 sucked no 2 was a bit better no 3 was epic no four was epic + 20 but this one is no better than no 1. the grafects look like they were made out of paper and you can earther win easly or lose epicly.

Awful compared to its previous games, i believe this game peaked at epic war 4; starting to go downhill now. You may want to put more time into your games or make a different series; this one is getting old anyway.

Screen seems slightly too big for the frame its in, some of the borders are cut off. Also, I know you don't want to go back to the way things were, but by far autospawn pales in comparison to command spawns seen in ew 1 and 2. The games are still good, but quality and gameplay they seem to be in almost reverse order, with the newer games blending together, with only the first two being distinct and memorable. Also, needs more of a story, like the one ew 2 had.

Wheres my minimap??? the minimap is a great asset in the previous games but the moving it makes it harder to strategize. the updates are nice but I wouldn't necessarily say they're better than EW4.

Epic War 1,2 and 3 were much better... i don't mind awful graphics so long as the game design outweighs it. storyline, grammar, difficulty 'steps' during level changes.... but this.... i'm sorry to say... is pretty bad :( i love the Epic War series but this..... i liked it better when you qued up the soldiers and remained a stationary Archer Tower... now you use a commander that you can hardly control? :/ plus i'm doing the skull night... i like how he says 'go to hell' but it gets WAY boring hearing it over and over again...3/5

I loved EW 1 and 2, liked 3, didn't like 4, and this one feels like being stabbed in the gut. I still miss my tower, i miss my giant legions of soldiers, i miss the mana pool, and i miss the good graphics. Please oh please let this be fixable sometime in ever.

Alright, the game (menu, characters, skill advancements, etc) seemed to get off to a slower start; however, once you get a few hours into it, the game feels like the "classic" ep war. Solid game. I would recommend creating new characters, new abilities, etc. 80% feels like the old - not bad - but, we could try something new. I don't know if I like the fact that the hero cannot die. I liked it when he/she regenerated. hmmm... That's it. 5/5

Once again, the units need better targeting and controls. When I say retreat, they should immediately retreat. Or if my wolf jumps past the boss, he should go back and chase him down, instead of keep on running forward. Same with the bosses. Don't just pass up all my units and kill my hero.

Great game, except when you make a larger, more powerful version of a little monster. Don't just blow up the picture, its all pixilated, and looks crappy.

Quite frankly, the Epic War series started off amazing. And for some f'ed up reason every game after kept slowly getting worse and worse.

dont be picky graphics our good like xbox360 has good games with good graphics but do i complain about graphics no i dont they try hard to make games so just enjoy them

eh... i liked the other ones better, and it seems like you zoomed in way to much, and i liked it much more when you had a giant tower you could shoot arrows from, it made it much better in my opinion

with the new features and such
i do agree if u play it like the other EW versions it is very easy but then again i love to make it a challenge myself so i dont use the best units when i want to make it harder on myself
