now, I've been a long time fan of this series, and I can say, in all honesty, that the series has had its ups and downs. This series is like Pokemon. There are people who only like the first two "generations" and some who like the creativity that was put on the last two games. And just like in pokemon, not many remember the third game. But one thing im sure many would appreciate, and i dont want to rush the developers since EW5 is here, is an "Epic War 2.1" where we can have the old graphics and gameplay along with the new spells and such. That would surely bring in nostalgic feelings....

While this game is entertaining, it isn't as challenging, quite as fun, or engaging as the previous Epic War games. I enjoyed a few of the things introduced in this release, such as the ability to spawn buildings and each unit earning its own exp. Also, the accessories were another interesting feature, though somewhat limited. In the next game, I think it would be interesting to see some of the features of this game (exp, accessories, buildings, special moves for certain unites) blended in with the old style where we have to defend our castle and destroy the enemy castle. Also, I would like to see the accessories idea explored a little more thoroughly. How about some items to increase population, or mana regen? Lastly, I hope that in the future the story line will be longer and the maps much larger.

Maybe make a shortcut to have just your hero retreat while the rest continue to assault? Especially since you now lose when your hero dies...

Too easy and too short... Rudy, you really should've listened to past comments on past EPW games... Need to make one that's like the first two!!! 3/5 this time.... It's still a good game though!

A great addition to the series. I really like the unit skills and equipability, and the addition of defensive buildings for the player changes the game nicely. I enjoy this one most out of the series so far. I do think that the boss graphics look way too grainy, but all in all I think that this is a graphical and overall improvement over previous games.

you shouldnt lose as soon as your hero dies that sucks it should be like the rest! of the epic wars and when ur castle dies then you lose~ not just ur hero!!!!!!!

hmm i really wish you can manually upgrade your troops like the other 4... i don't really like the autoo upgrading it gives less for you to do.

i love the epic war 5 series but this is like epic war 1 but animated without not turret and smaller maps and really dont like it rudy i want epic war 6 too be like epic war 2 or i ganna stop playing this weird animated games

Yup, tanks and ranged, then just keep upgrading to ranged units and use wall as your only spell and you can beat every map.

can you please add a timer for the spells as in EW4, they were really handy, and without them it is VERY hard to win this game. (please rate this up so he can see this)

Very fun strategy game. The graphics are pretty good, controls sleek and easy to use. Nice job!~ I'm just itching for badges now! I think the maps and animation could perk up a bit, but overall, a nice game. I like that it has challenge but not insanely stupid, pointless impossible challenge.
It is a pretty EPIC WAR!~

So i saw d_swabey's comment somewhere at the top, and as i read it, I completely agreed. Right after that I refreshed my memory on the other 4 EW titles (trough a little playing of course) and There is definitely great deal of artistic improvement going on, no doubt. That being said the EW5 game does look a lot unfinished. I'm talking about the pixelated subbosses made by blowing up the regular beasts, about the inconvenient formation menu and the not-really-fitting-into-style yellow font.

not the best one but it is still good only bad thing is hero moves a little too fast, and there is a delay if you tell your troops to move away while they are in combat

wow *chuckels* great game i *chuckle* love the graphics nah seorously man u screwed up bad graphics are awful any you unlock the units what is this ew3 u screwed up please dont let us down again its EPIC war not LAME GRAPHICS AND BULLCRAP UNIT UPGRADES war in the sixth wich will be what like 2 years away and total crap i hope i am wrong but the EPIC graphics of ew3 and 4 where good you butchered them bad
