As others have said, your units max out relatively quickly and after they're maxxed out all the xp they obtain is rendered useless. This problem is highlighted with your hero unit. Im just about halfway through the trials and my hero unit has ~ 4k of unusable xp. By any chance could we have this excess xp go towards upgrading other units or at least serve a function?

Went through the entire game without using my Hero once, I just sent all my units out to fight and left my hero standing as far to the left as I could.
Hero kept dying far too quickly and since the units respawn very fast anyway it didn't matter. Stick it on x3 speed and sit back and wait for victory.

I've been playing this game a lot since my other accounts, I have some tips and ideas so when you have completed the game but then everything restarted the Guardian Angel Badge will not unlock you the medium level characters so what you want to do is create a new account go to Epic war 5 and you'll see you don't have any achievements unlocked and then if you finished the easy levels you'll unlock the medium character. They could be more characters unlocked my doing missions like have 600 kills in one level and 600 in a other level, but the upgrades for the high hp characters should be higher like 1000 Hp or something like that, even for the your boss because in the high levels it's usefulness because who will need a boss that dies all the round or just add different bosses to unlock.
