Don't really like the hero-defeat system.. a base like in the other games would be better.. those heroes are squishy. Great game tho :)

i wonder why epic war 3, 4, 5 (never tried 1 and 2) is LOT different from each other (other than graphic and game mode itself) i mean. epic 3 are awesome, level up units and unlock gods though trail, it was fun challenge for me. epic war 4 are even more awesome. 3 heros 2 unit each, god units and etc. i enjoyed fighting and make progress. and NEW level up system (circle thingy) are amazing. now... epic war 5... just. sorry i got bored after 10 mins. hero die= u lose O.o earn exp to level up ur units... most of them require 30-200 exp. its hard to "remember" to use my unit's skill like wizard's heal. my option even though this is still "beta" it should have been better regent to epic war 3 and 4. i do HOPE developer have plan to improve it LOT.

I believe all the heroes are not that good except for the queen character.. Reason being is because she does a swoop attack which she cant be attacked when she does it, so when she can be attacked (between attacks) I can just cast regen spell then she is almost invincible.. To prove my point play as her and you can solo the whole campaign doing this. While other characters will die going up against a couple units...

There should be an option to put x3 as the default speed. It gets tiresome opening the Menu and changing it manually every fight.

If the hero is going to be easily killed in the late game, change the boss "Inferno" attack patterns, if it keeps charging through units in one direction, there won't be enough time to kill it before it reaches the hero at the other end of the screen.

I've never really liked the previous epic wars. I thought it was bland since the gameplay is the same, you get your units together, then attack full force. The only redeeming factor was the epicly detailed art. Epic War 5 is a bit different. Adding the skills to the summoned units add quite a lot gameplay-wise and I quite liked it. I think the improvements are better this time. The story and UI could use a bit of work though. I suggest having small skill shortcut buttons on the top part of the screen and a small progress bar (like the minimap from the previous games). I would also like to see how some of the mechanics work like how do monster acquisition works, items, exp, etc. All in all I think this is a lot better the old one (though the art isn't as epicly detailed as the others) and it's heading in a very good direction.

On Second trial, seems to be a ton of tanks stuck outside map because they will shoot at least 15 shots if you get close enough to the edge, this is severely slowing the map down and making it a pain to play that particular map.

How do you unlock all of the units? I have beaten all of the trial stages and I have upgraded my units fully, yet I still do not have them all. Anyone know how?

Can someone tell me how to kill the Collosus from Trial 1? Trial 2-4 aren't a problem strangely enough. But the Collosus just crushes everything I send in his way.

Also, having the hero die after one hit makes him useless. I leave him in the back on higher levels but even then he seems to die somehow even if my army has all the enemy units pinned down on the other side of the screen.

Thanks for bringing the 5th series. It's been a good effort. You have streamlined the game play. Removed the main castle/home base. So now instead of protecting the castle you have to protect the Hero. Therefore, contribution of the Hero in later parts of the game remains only to casting long range spells, as the hero stands out of the direct battle. It's different and interesting. Game play is more linear but the feeling is that it's too much linear as compared to previous series. Graphivs are fine. However in some cases the increased pixelated graphics of the mini boses shows that the graphics were hurried through.
A request to the developer. If you could some how find a way to balance the accumulated exp points for the maxed units, that would be helpful.

trick to the collosus, strawhatt, is goblins, dwarf engineers and other such fast attackers, the next one looks like its best to go with a bunch of the really heavy guys like death and the black dragon.
