Strawhatt, the key to beating the Colossus is the speed of his attack animation. You need to have fast movers that respawn quickly (goblins, hobbits, etc) yeah he'll kill them instantly, but if they get back to him before he starts moving, he'll attack again, and again and won't move... then have your ranged guys slowly peck away at him. The hard part is managing all the other monsters that come.

Trial Level 1 is impossible, I beat all other levels (all other Trial levels too), but this one is impossible. The boss do 2x5000Damage with each attack.......................................

5/5 I love the X3 button! It's what missed in the previous games.
But I think you should have a message or something when you get an achievement because I had the white tiger for a long time before I knew it...

The hero really becomes a burden once you get to the later levels, having him retreat is the best thing to do. I think that the classic system where the enemy had to destroy your castle in order to win, is better than this one.

Great game! The only thing that i would recommend changing would be the upgrading screen. It is kind of annoying to have to click on the unit in order to see its stats/abilities. but overall the Epic War series rocks!

It's quite annoying that their buildings take ages to destroy whereas ours take second, I don't you could implement more hp into our buildings + if you agree

Health bars are a little off on smaller creatures. Also, zooming on your browser doesn't zoom the game. And I can't locate the goblin ranger. Apart from that, great job!

My strategy for killing the Colossus was to do a tactical retreat. Units were all ranged attackers (Centaurs a must) plus the goblins. All units had Platinum Swords. Fight all the way down to the Colossus and get it to start moving. Use the goblins rage to boost your ranged attacks, and send the goblins to die at the Colossus. When the Colossus gets close to your ranged fighters, retreat everything about the length of one screen and then send the goblins alone to attack again. Every 60 seconds redo Rage. Every time the Colossus gets close to the ranged, retreat them another screen-length. At a certain point if you've spread out your goblin deaths enough you will get to a stasis location where goblins are arriving as fast as they are killed and the ranged units can just sit and attack. Centaurs will kill anything coming behind the Colossus like apes and enemy goblins.

I'm a fan of the Epic War series, and it's nice to see a fifth, but I don't think I've got the attention span to complete. This is basically send in your units, leave your hero at home and let your spawns do all the work, the only spell worth casting is the heal spell, but it takes ages to accumulate mana.
I'm disappointed, if you want my advice, take it back to the drawing board, redesign the interface and give us something to do during the battles.

To all game developers: LEARN FROM RUDY SUDARTO!!!
Don't be greedy and ruin a game by making us spend money on it for bonuses or whatever, just add some ads to it! Any gamer will prefer by far a small ad then getting annoyed by not being able to do many stuff within the game if you don't pay.

Tip to doing the Extra+Trial stages, Dont let your hero run into battle. Keep him back at the start and use his spells.

In terms of heroes I suggest going with the queen. I found her regen ability quite useful when it came to keeping my big hitters alive for the extra and trial stages. All heroes become useless at some point in the later levels so i use their skills to rank them. Queen>Viegraf>Skull Knight. Also how do you unlock all units?

Agresve: I actually have 29 units :) so 27 is not the maximum. Now, i still miss SEVEN UNITS. PLEASE HELP ME BWAAAAH.

I'd really liked the game,but in high levels the heroes are totally useless agains boss's(Even units)
So if it is possible,add more update to heroes,bump stats,hp,damage,also add new abilities,when also make bosses more harder to kill rate + if u like my idea.

Summoning a fifth building should erase the first building. This would be the easiest way to deal with the building limit.

I like the game but some things disappoint me. For example there is no way to upgrade spells, buildings, max/mana, mana regeneration, etc. I like how the system works but there needs to be a way to do improve things other than units. Also I'd like some reason to go play around with the other units. I found the ones I like and stick to them, but unlocking units loses its fun when I know I'm not gonna use them. Perhaps a max out bonus that applies generically across the board, so as to solve both problems. For example, maxing elderly wizard would add 20 to max mana, vampire would give +20 health to all units, centurion would improve arrow towers. Something like that would vastly improve the game.

I guess empty slots in spare unit screen doesnt even have unit to unlock, it says 27 unique units.. and theres more then that much slots

Another comment, because you make great games and you'll improve on this one. A maximum 4 building limit exists, but we have no way to remove buildings manually. Please institute a way to remove buildings, or increase the limit. Also, can you please check the summon fortress and walls pells, it may be just me but it seems like they provide very little fortification.

The inferno Keeps going, through units and all. The only thing that blocks him is a building or the edge of the playing field. So even when you get him as a unit it's not much use because he just doesn't stop, he goes through the units and boss units. This a glitch/bug? or is this was this intended.

the hero is only used to watch the battles?
In the firsts levels he is the most powerful unit, but in the final levels he die in just 2 or 3 hits of the bosses.
I place him in the beginning of the map and dont move him for nothing.
Its just need an diferent mode to upgrade the hero!
apart from that, this is a great game! worthy of the saga Epic War.
