The heroes are absolutely useless later in the game. The bosses one hit kill all of them. And the inferno is a little too overpowered, it just runs through everything, and even with spells, always makes it to the hero and one hits him. I just wish the heroes could have a fraction of the usefulness of the bosses.

There's a really annoying bug where if you click for to begin a battle on the map, then click formation and begin the battle, the formation screen will be mounted on top of the normal battle-view making it impossible to play.

Did you really play the game all the way through rudy? A useless hero that makes you lose games because he insta dies is really...you come up with the word.

epic failure no more trill and a little boring, poor AI no more war only battles in short EPIC BATTLE and it not epic anymore so rename BATTLE

game dropped 2 stars for me when I beat every level with the SAME strategy...
and now that I have... I do not appreciate that the game isn't unlocking some unit and I can't get the last achievement.

Does anyone have any tips for the first trial level? i keep going at him but he doesnt die fast enough and then in 20 minutes he reaches my hero and he dies.

Fun game, but I do have a few beefs.
First off, I got through the game very easily. In the later stages, I just built buildings to tank and they last a lot longer than regular units. I upgraded all of my ranged units' attack first, so they just annihilated everything. So essentially i just kept building walls and killing everything behind the wall. Not sure how to get through this, maybe give the opponent some building killing units?
Secondly, the fights didn't come off to me as very creative. I remember some fun maps in EW4 where it was like mass Goblins, or goblins that could one shot anything (those were hard to kill) and really just some unique situations that required some strategy. I don't think i lost a single match or even got close to losing one.
Thirdly, the game is really short right now. I know its beta and everything, but I hope it lasts longer. EW is a really fun series and I hope you guys best.

There is a huge bug! If you lose the battle of the iron fortress you still get the iron fortress unit! A good bug but still a bug :D

A strategy that has worked very well I call the Siege. Cliche', I know, but effective. Start with distraction units, preferably goblins and hobbits. These guys lock up the enemies in their attack animation so that your artillery, lots of ranged units can stand a ways back and pound the crap out of them.This is paired very well with the Skull Knight and his Castle and Rage skills. Rage the artillery constantly. Your mana regen will allow this, and provide a little extra. Build a castle where your artillery is standing, and it will heal them and be a buffer. Make more than one castle. I recommend a Golem stationed at your furthest castle to slow the enemies down considerably. Because your units need to traverse the entire battlefield when they die, the closer the boss gets to your base, the slower he will move. Good luck, and enjoy this awesome game. :D

Amazing graphics, kind of bland story line, and to be honest the series is getting repetitive, I love Epic War but to be honest it was kind of dead after EP3, I'm sorry to say this but it needs more spizazz, I love Epic War but please try to add something new... Epic Wars 3 4 and 5 were basically the same just different stages and heroes... great game though, same old same old but great game.

There is a bug in accessory panel. When You click on empty item field then it select an item from the prievous page.
Good idea would be add an arrows to change army creatures in accessory panel. It would help with faster equip own army.

I have a suggestion. Either make the Generals stronger to play on the extra and trial stages, or give us better mana regeneration and max mana as the game progresses so that if they aren't participating in battle at least they can hang back and support with spells. As of now, the only way to take on trial stages is to spam meteor level 2 and zerg the opponents, then wait about a half hour to an hour.

I think there's a bug on the Ice Fortress trial map. It seems to be creating Tanks that get stuck off the map, but keeps creating them, creating a memory leak which slows the game down. The only reason I noticed it is because my Werewolf jumps over there and a bunch of cannonballs fire at him, even though the tanks don't move forwards.
