I'm missing the save possibility at all... Do you expect that I rush through the entire game without closing the game?

I really like this series. It would have been nice if the weaknesses of the last otherwise great games - the long delay of spells and troop reactions, the difficulty of controlling troops - had been addressed. I don't understand what the extra movement buttons do, and I wish there were a stop button.

For people talking about speed button. There is no speed button, the games sets the quality to High every time you start the battle, and then when you click on "Speed x3" it lowers the quality to Low. That's right, the "SPEED" button is just quality settings. Very cheap trick really.

Meh, the game is cool , it just don't feel like the previews games , there is no more tactics involved on this one ,this one is more like grinding.

Pretty nice, i've been looking forward to another Epic War. A couple of things though: 1. Why didn't you implement the effect timer from EW4? I like to know when my buffs will run out. 2. i prefer the previous spell systems, having a spell like rage on every other creature feels like a waste of an upgrade slot for all those creatures. 3. trial bosses have way too much health, to the point where it feels not like a challenge but like a chore.

To quote Yahtzee "I feel a bit like a lioness whose cub has been eaten by the lion. I just don't know where we stand right now be he sure as heck isn't getting any of my Zebra!". That pretty much sums up my feelings on the matter. I just don't know if I like this one or not. And its cutting me a little bit because I check Kong everyday for two weeks and now that Epic War 5 is out, I don't actually have the burning urge to play it and see all the bits like I had thought I would. There are things that have improved. The artwork is superb, the story adds that teeny bit of context to the game that Epic 4 lacked. It has the building components from the first two games and the passably expansive battle locations AND three distinct heros that you can play as, each with their own little bit on where they belong in the overarching story. Yet somehow its just not the glorious melding of the first two games and the second two games that I would imagine most people were expecting Epic 5 to be.

Sadly it is a waiting game like EW4. If you want to have viable units, you will have to grind the same levels over and over.

the in-game acheivements are really hard sudarto
i can hardly get the first one man if u can make more achievements giving us strong characters to fight with and on the hells gate when u fight the big red monster ur angel should be able to get back to life once its dead after a certain time and u should be able to control it coz the angel kept going and i had no choice but to tell my troops to keep going it died and i was dead too

Definitely the best art of any Epic War game yet, that's absolutely amazing. I'm not sure what feels off about this one though...maybe I just need to play it a little longer, 'cause it was jarring at first but I'm getting used to it.

Seriously need a minimap... I think I might have a bug but I'm not sure without a minimap: when i scroll the map until I get in the "fog of war" and the screen turn entirely black, it looks like I can't go back to the already explored parts of the map without using the keypad (scrolling with the mouse don't seem to work anymore) .
The fact that some spells are cast by units is a good idea and a pain in the ass. I lose a lot of time to look through my units for the one able to cast the spell I want. You need a more "user friendly" interface there.
How to continue a game is really not indicated enough: I (and several friends on kgg chat) lost a few minutes wondering if I had lost my save.
Last, a little thing that can be quite frustrating: the fact that the mute button is only accessible from the map, not in game.

What happened to the once great Epic War Series... This one is way to easy. The Idea that every Unit gets it´s own exp just turns away the tactical element of choosing carefully in which creature you want to invest your points. The Heroes are weaker which is ok but you can just sit there heal them from time to time or draw back to regain your mana than approach again. I did´t ran into any counter attack till now. The Enemy Boss is way to slow to be of any danger. I always liked the epic war series. For the strategy and tactic element. Which has been drawn away from this game. Nothing for me anymore 1/5

seems a too primitive game, compared to Epic War 4.
no strategic planning - just "equip the strongest units available, run forward and kill"
and inability to see the skill tree BEFORE you buy a skill makes leveling units up inpredictable and so - almost totally random.
just a smooth drawed arcade game.
wanna more strategy here =)

I've seen a recurring problem in the Epic War series. The graphics were really good and detailed, no doubt about that, but the biggest gripe I had was with the attack animations. Really? The spears thrown spun around after they hit the "ground" in such a slow, constant speed, that it seemed too unrealistic. Even breaking apart and fading would have been better. Many of the attack animations consist of few frames, which makes it seem as though little effort was put into it. I really wish you could change this, it's hard for me to want to play a game when it doesn't look good.

PLEASE let our general respawn!!! A really cool trick I found is to put an elemental orb on a magic user that isn't it's element. When you do the spells looks and affect will completely change! For example give a witch a thunder orb and its a new spell.
