For all of those having trouble with the colossus have 3 ranged units and 3 low spawn time units (goblins hobbits etc). Keep kiting the colossus and cast rage on your ranged units while the squishy people tank.
It helps to put electricity element on your spear men to stun his units as they spawn.
I used hobbit, goblin, vampire swordsman, archers, centaurs, dark wizard dude. This formation also beats most "super boss stages" For isntance end of hope.
Against most other titan stages like the Iron fortress use fully upgraded vampires to cast regeneration on your titan units while you have freeze+stun enchanted ranged units dealing damage from afar. upvote if you find usefull

Your hero should get skills that add damage and health to your units rather than yourself, because the hero dies in a few hits in later levels. Also i think the spells you learn should be able to level up rather than take 3 skill slots to learn the same spell 3 times.

after the 2nd tier of levels, you can't really level up or improve much, which some may say "it focuses more on tactics" i lean more towards "i have nothing else to do but grind against a wall until i get lucky"

i have a problem why the ape can't make snow rocks or volcanic rocks in the layers and one big problem with mana pool it's not upgradable and has same speed and limits please fix this if possible

i like how when you tell a group to move to one point, they dont advance too far forward when the enemy comes, and when they do.....they move back 0_0 its great 8D

@Fubarman: What are these titan units you speak of?
@anyone in general: what is the achievement reward "Portable Mjolnir"?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Seeing spawn rate and move speed has been absent forever. Any chance we could see those, or would that violate some concept the designers are going for?

How much have you people even played? There are titan units. And every character has their own upgrade tree. And some of the battlefields are full five frames and then some. I don't get what you people are complaining about.

this is in regards to what was said about exp changes for when u lose a battle. Exactly what has been updated because i just went through an hour long fight and i still got only 10 exp

How can you get all of the unit of the game in 1 "play"?or you can't?cause there are many empty spaces in the formation menu even at the end of the game..

you know im gettin kinda pissed about the fact that i get to play an hour, then i have to start all over the next day

also u have the tornado and gas cloud spells mixed up, when i click tornado a poison gas cloud comes out and vice versa , donèt forget about my other comment on more speed multipliers

The mana system isn't great. If you have a hero and a follower who can cast the same spell, then the extra caster doesn't help at all, as they draw from the same pool. There would be more flexibility if underling skills weren't just a redundant waste of precious mana.

Tip to beating Inferno Just spam Build 4 walls and keep Building walls when he Destroys one to keep him at bay until your Units kill him i did it with a White wolf a golem a archer mage a Centuar and a Suicide Bomber all maxed full

I seem to be missing units and can't get the final achievement even though I have Progress 100% on the hero. Does anybody know why?

I liked this game overall, but I did find some flaws.
The art was pretty good. It's a very messy game with a lot of flat units all going crazy, but most of it's clean and good looking and you can read the battle good. The big pixely units are a bit unfortunate and if the towers could point where their shooting I would've had one less meh moment.
The gameplay is fun but easy. I was a bit surprised when every battle yielded a reward. I think it makes the upgrades come to easily so that your never left searching for an innovative solution to the next encounter, your just busting out your new badass monster who's gonna help you steamroll even faster. I've actually just reached my first hurdle, at the end of the extra missions its taking me more then 2 attempts finally!! Need more of these moments throughout the normal one. When I finished the first I was kinda reluctant to do all that again because I knew it'd be pretty easy.

main sequence of quests are too easy-x3 speed doesn't really stop the game from being an "idle game". I vastly preferred ew3, where you actually faced some difficulties on your first play through.

a pretty easy game i played as the skull knight and as some alrdy mentioned all he's good for in the later stages is for his spells maybe make the heroes a lil more powerful?

how to win in 4 easy steps : 1.click on every unit but the hero 2. press forward 3. build walls, maybe do a couple strikes when you get them. 4.do a victory dance
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
ummm, can you please make it so enemies cant go back behinf the end wall, because now i have to wait like 3 seconds every time i want to attack coz i push them into the wall and its so annoying

protip: You can summon up to 4 buildings, so if you're having a really hard time, just build a tonne of fortresses, walls or altars at your end of the field and piss off the boss using a long-range spell or fodder units (e.g. goblins). The units you lose will have regenerated by the time the boss is at your end, and with 4 fortresses/walls/altars, your ranged units will have plenty of time to take them down.

the game is pretty good. understood that its in beta but should be considered far from complete. the speed x3 when you pause should be moved to the game for quicker and more convince use. the hero being the failure point is ok, but after a few levels he is about as dangerous as a pony. having to keep him back while sending all the minions to have all the fun makes the game less entertaining. either have a castle in the back (on both sides) or make the hero character more upgradeable. small levels could be expanded but still fun. having a few more levels to try and grind all your minions stats to max would also be nice. also maybe some clues on how to obtain the un accuired minions or items when you scroll over them.

The reason why some people did not like the graphics so much and others say it's great is (I think) because of the way you handled the larger versions of the enemies. These are directly scaled up versions of the original sprites, since you do not use vector graphics this makes the models look a bit blocky. Didn't bother me though, I had fun with this game. Not as much as some of the previous ones (the upgrade system seemed nerfed) but it was still a fun play. What I would love to play is an Epic War where I can level each unit's stats (attack, resistances, health, capacity, spawn rate, special skills) separately so I can really tune them to the play style I like (or, if I grind enough, turn a unit into something unstoppable).

fully leveled/maxed out suicide bomber units are bugged. will only spawn 1 unit and game thinks they are capped out at 10/10

Dear Developers, great thanks for awesome games and Epic War series especially. Today I played v.1.02 and I dont managed even the first trial mission (maybe I doing something wrong). Here are my observations: 1.HORRIBLE spells efficiency ratio to their MP cost\maximum MP (or its regeneration rate). And if at the low and mid game that still insignificant, in trials its very aloud. Solutions: enhance spells\reduce their MP cost\increase MP regeneration\increase total cap of MP. In my opinion the last option is the most optimal. 2.Limit on the total number of all buildings types equal 4 is... hm... cruel. In any case Golem demolish all constructions with a single blow. Solutions: increase the toughness of buildings\change buildings limitation. 3.The hero is really glass-cannon, especially since his death is a defeat condition. In fact, if you solve the problems of the first paragraph, the hero possible leaving at start of trials as caster. P. S. Sorry for my dire language.

killing the wandering swordman is much easier if you picked the first hero (I forgot his name btw) cause he moves around when he attacks, which makes it easier for me ranged units to kill the boss.

Hrmm.. Well, the graphics and sound are great, but the gameplay seems less complex than previous games. Also, the way the content is displayed, it makes it seem like there is much less of it than in previous games (that is, 3 maps per area, only a few units per page, 3 upgrades in a line, etc.) 4/5
