Just dropped my rating to 1/5 out of spite. My computer is several years old but I can't remember any other games on Kongregate that I couldn't play so far, while this one became unplayable by level 8 and there isn't even that much happening on screen. I can't believe how sloppy the code must be. Seriously, you couldn't even let me adjust graphics quality or disable some effects?

For the End: Fire all arrows constantly at him, spam hobbits and golems, hobbits die from 1 hit golems can take 3. Make angels whenever possible as they deal loads of damage before they die. If you have fully upgraded everything its a piece of cake:)

Upgrade regular arrows the max you can.
hold A, switch windows while holding A, release A, go back to the game, tan dan... easy easy. Or if you feel like thats cheating, just hold A yourself.

i got the epic drill sergeant badge with my angels at level one and my dragons at level 3, something is wrong there O_O

Nice game! finished last boss with 20hp :D
Only negative thing is that centaur is really imba. Other than that, great work.
A little repetive though.

mattieboy's tactic works very well. you just get all upgrades and get everything set up before THE END comes. Just spamm 1,2,3 and get a bunch of angels when you can and a few dragons from tim to time. When you spam the hobbits, dwarfs, and elfs, they help stop and stall THE END so the angels and dragons have more time to kill it. thanks mattieboy66. :) Oh yeah, and use the auto-fire tactic also so you have more time to spam the angles, hobbits, elfs, and dwarfs.

good game ps in lvl 4 to get alought of exp u need lvl 2 wizard and magic and regain if u have other kinds dont need them summon a bout 5 wizards and only use arrows whil waiting so use ur special when u have only 1 wizard and thers a troll dont stop firing at it so once it reaches the tower u should hav 7 or more and make mor wizards so that trolls wont reach u in time to hurt ur wizards i got 15000 exp

So boooring. Got everything maxed at Field 8, nothing new afterwards until The End.
Thanks for the autofire trick. I myself have used the hardware solution: a pencil sharpener on the keyboard.

Guys i am screwed the crossbow sometimes moves up for half a minute or down randomly and i cant shoot so its impossible for me but 3/5

Some of the idiots posting of no mute or pause button should look at the sound button and the pause button before they negative comment this awesome game. Fantastic gameplay, but i agree that the arrow and unit spamming gets tedious, perhaps there should be 10 levels, gaining in difficulty, and a time bonus. either way, its an obvious 5/5.

Fix the mute button, I don't want to hear the blasts of an arrow when i've muted it....

What's up with all the bugs in this game? Ever heard of beta testing? For example, my army is slaughtering away at the other castle and the enemies can hit them, but my troops can only hit the castle. I mean what is the point

roflnoobcake's tip is good:
best strategy ->to beat the final boss… use autofire (hold down the A key, press and hold S, a second later press and hold D, a second later press and hold F, then right click on the game and release the keys. when you left click, the game still thinks you’re holding the buttons. to stop, press the key again. the sequence is because it seems that the special effects of fire, thunder, and ice arrows don’t work when they all hit at once, so you space them out…) send angels whenever you can, a dragon occasionally perhaps, and spam hobbits, elves, and dwarves (press 1,2,3 whenever the dwarf picture resets, that gave me a good rate of sending them out) the final boss barely made it past the trap with this strategy.

I give up. Three times I tried the end, and it takes so long and is so hard that to me it isn't worth it. An otherwise good game though.

I can't beat the boss. Overall, i very good game. however, with angels i plowed my way from battles 7 to 14. that teamed up with full arrows is nice.

fully got my troops up all of them and no badge even got a green light at the top of the chat thats sad even refreshed my browswer ad have saved several times

To win, you will deff need max mana, and max castle support. then unleash all angels, while inf. hobbits and light elf. then when he starts to get about 3ft from his castle, you should be able to hit him with your arrows. if you run out of angels start using your thunder,fire,and ice arrows as much as possible to keep back the trolls. and after awhile, you'll get him down to 0.
