EW 1 and 2 are the only ones in the series. 3-5 should be renamed retard war 1-3 for ditching the arrow tower, adding the card bullsh!it, and dumping the story.

to Diadem, it isnt that its the best, its just the nostalgia of being the one that started this great series. i agree with your gripes but i still give this game the appropriate praise

i wonder why the mute button doesnt work properly... it only mutes the music and not the sound fx... i want to listen to my music while playing : (

I had never played this version of epic war before, only 3 and later. I had read on the forums that people liked this one. So I finally decided to try it out today.
I really can't see why people like it. I know it's an old game, so i'm not going to look at graphics or complexity. But the gameplay is horrible. It's mindnumbingly slow, the necessity of shooting arrows means that despite the stupidly slow pace you can't ever relax, and it's completely unbalanced.
Also seems rather buggy. Normally the enemy ogre/troll units die quite easily, but sometimes one of them can kill two dozen dwarfs without a scratch.

Hint:to auto fire hold A then click out of game screen then click back it will be auto firing (if dotn work i think need to hold shift so)

ill give a hint:do not spend only on elemental arrows the normal arrow can be deadly to all enemies so spend on it too.

max arrows,mana per kill and mana regen,then spam arrows everywhere
if you press A S D F and alt+tab the game stays in "auto-fire"
max trap and angels and done...lvl 15 in 4 hours

Keep Pressing a-s-d-f and r, then go to another tab. Now go drink a cup of coffee and wait for your mana to become 9999.

Tip: First, upgrade your arrows as much as you can. Look for a good spot for your arrows to land. hold A. now right click. it now fires without holding A all the time. It keeps firing so you can just do everything you want. For example you can keep growing your mana. If a creature comes through the arrows you can summon some of your own to defeat the ones coming through.

I agree with anaress. It's the first one. What do you you really expect? Always remember the age of games and judge them on it's time of release not other games made more recently especially in the same series.

Lol you guys are expecting too much on the first Epic War,do you really attend to wait for a speed up button or something else? Just let the game be, it's good as it is :) Thank you Epic War's creators

Hint. hold asdf to fire arrows then while holding, click off of page (to another tab or something) and it will auto shoot until you press the letter for the arrow. using this strategy you can take an arch demon without using a single troop.
