one word: Boring. No challenge, as long as you dont cap yourself by increasing your starting mana. Actually, since when was buying new things with xp a bad thing in these games? :P one point for that..

I like the idea of the floating castle and the air battles, but the game seems to need some tweaking: It all centers on getting the upper hand. Once you have the upper hand, you can't really lose unless you stop producing units. In the final level, you are given the upper hand at the start, which is strange, since it hands the whole level to you. This makes me think the developer doesn't see this facet of the game at all. Also, once you get the upper hand there isn't much to do but wait for the wave bar to clear out. Another thing is the mana regen rate; it increases every time you increase the size of your mana pool, but the rate of increase is ridiculous, making the game too easy. Finally, I did not use towers at all and the units don't have unique strengths so the best strategy is just to spam dragons - not too much fun.

alright game 2/5, most of the time near the end your not doing anything, just sitting there while your army of dragons and turrets do all the work.

Hmm actually now that I have improved my ability to play this game it is quite good. I no longer consider it an epic fail but an epic triumph.

Simple. Just DO NOT buy mana pool upgrades, always start level with 20 mana. Upgrading it during the level gives you mana regen, but buying the upgrade does not (and there is a limit of 9999 mana).
So just buy mana regen, faster unit create time and dragon upgrades. Start level with two or three mana pool upgrades, buy some junk to start with, upgrade pool to 640 or 1280 and start spamming dragons.

not so compelling. the castle is so large it dominates the playing field while the enemies and your units are tiny. the sounds are ok though.

Yay. didn't build a thing in the second half of the last levels. Also, why is the mana required for healing not determined by the amount of units? That would make a bit more sense, wouldn't it?

Boring. The upgrades completely overpower the units. I'm at half of level 7 and watching by Panzers waste everything.
