awww only 8 levels... little easyer than epic war... actually epic war owns this by a long shot. But this still is a good game 4/5!

Current challenge on Kingdom of The Wind: Seriously, the sky is the limit for floating kingdoms. Floating in outer space would just be silly. Hurry, challenge ends at midnight PST, on Dec. 26, 2008.

1) Needs mute. 2) Since EXP is awarded at a flat rate based on the type of enemy you kill and the type of unit you create, there is no incentive to spend EXP or mana on upgrades. Just spam whatever unit yields the highest exp per enemy killed ratio. For example, if you kill an evil panzer with 20 riders, that yields a lot more exp than if you kill it with your own panzer, for the same mana cost.

I forgot somethign, this game, like that other game, does give off a very good presentation, which is not easy to do, now the design needs work is all

This game falls into 'clickspam', effectively elimiating the strategy. sheer numbers and energy regeneration trump any sort of tactics of this game. I remember a game similer to this with elves and hobbits and angels, the music was simaler too and I think it might have been done by the same team. this is exsactly that game only moving up rather than side to side. a very good way to complicate this overly simple game: add a spawn wave button, make specific attack types. amke units positionable and even movable (which will take more coding, defiantely) but I think I'm in agreement with the multiple flaws in coding and design. this is fine if youw want to sell this game, it will do it's job. for the rest of us that are gamers and know a really good game, this one needs a lot more critical thinking about the idea of FUN and interaction. sid meyer once said 'a game is a series of intersting choices.' this game fails on that very basic premise.

seemed hard at first until i put my experience into faster mana regen and realized upgrading was for all your troops, not just one you've selected.
faster mana regen + constant helicopter troops + upgrades = easy win. fairly fun game.

Argh, it started in full screen, I completed day 8 (this game needs a balance check), I went back to Kongregate to see the site again, there I read about the "you must save" ... argh, now to complete it again. 3/5

The "unit upgrades" during the battle don't seem to max out... they just stop at around 640/940... That being said - You're Grounded!
Dude! You just completed the You're Grounded! achievement in Kingdom of The Wind and won the You're Grounded! badge and 5 points!

This game is preety fun. 3.5/5 And if you think it is hard, dont rush the game, play earlier levels for more experience

Okay, not great, glitchy and far too easy, the last level literally just requires you to have a backlog of units and then you can walk off, no reason to upgrade mana past a point either as you can't spend it on upgrades, or anything other than healing all your units. . .

it seems to me that mana regen is faster when max is high, though slower percentagewise. it got pretty epic on day 8 with the music and all the dragons, I like it. :)
