I really loved this one :) How about more events in future updates? I mean like some weird man with axe trying to go in. Is he dangerous, or is he friendly? Or maybe something like: your man have an idea of attracting some zombies into old apartment building and burn it. You can kill zombies, but fire can spread. What do you think? :)

Oh, and to everyone asking for an easy way to identify which buildings have lots of zombies, click the layered green/yellow/red squares beside the little graph drawing. Buildings then get highlighted in red if there's lots of zombies, yellow if there's some zombies and green if there's none.

So the three ways to win are:
30 buildings + city hall + write constitution
helipad + other stuff + launch helicopter
Intel on last judgement gang + fight war

I would like to suggest the following: 1. Ability to filter survivors by ranks in certain skills (eg, leadership 5 or more and soldier 2 or less. 2. Individual happiness ratings for each survivor (sure, the fort as a whole might be happy, but when you've got over 100 people, there's bound to be at least one guy who's a little ticked off). 3. Relationships between survivors (inherent ones like family relationships and developed ones like friendships - could tie in with suggestion #2).

1) I wish there were some variety in the enemies you face, or some variety in the game goals. Like maybe it wouldn't always be the same old tide of zombies, but different types and kinds, which you'd have to prepare for with different strategies.
2) I really wish there were an easier way to distinguish which buildings were infested.
3) There needs to be an automated defense function, where you could set "all available" to defend for one night. Having to click on twenty separate people to defend a raid is just too silly.

I really love the new game, but I feel like the game mechanic and gameplay is exactly like the old version. It's basically a race to beat out a steadily growing tide of zombies, which is good..... except that this game plays exactly like number 1, so I feel like I've played it before. And there isn't a very high replay draw. Also, higher difficulty levels are really absurdly difficult. I basically have to keep starting a new city until I find one where I start next door to 2 police stations and a hospital.

LEAVE CITY is the coolest new feature
(FYI - after you win a game, go back in, click on a mall, take 5 characters to a new city... awesome!)

I think that there are too many survivors outside of your city. They should be a rare thing to find, and if you don't get them quick enough they sohuld die.

Lovely already, a few suggestions. Sorting options for survivors menu (for each skill), and show more names (5 is too few). One school menu to control all schools would be nice for huge maps. Also, allow labs/schools to be converted again. Death by disease: give a few days warning to allow an attempt to reclaim a hospital; same for bites. Active farming could give a slightly higher boost, currently its just feeding the farmer (who still needs a home, so net loss) until you got the research done, which will take a while. When Gustav visits, trade window to sell any items, not just him wanting my rocket launcher ;). And perhaps allow appartments and farms to be upgraded for an extra room/food. Not sure whether I should give 4 or 5 stars... it's great, but not sure whether its version 2.0 or 1.5 now.

After seeing so many suicide rituals from the church of the chosen ones, I finally decided to change the name of the founder to Harold Campings.... hehehe. (he still thinks he can predict when the world will end.)

To make impossible easier, fully train up 5 people on an easier difficulty then "Leave City" and start an impossible game, this will enable you to dominate the start of the impossible game which should allow you to set up properly.

I'm sorry, but I didn't gave it 5 stars. Yes, the gameplay is very good, lots of things to do, but it just the classic Rebuild with better graphics and some new options.
I hope that the next one will be, at least, a little different.

Needs an option to customize the faces cuz I'm tired of cycling through the freakshow. And the dreads need to go, as well as the arnold face.

I played this gmae on Armor Games and LOST on Very Easy Difficulty! Stupid church of the chosen ones where everyday was a day off and all my people were committing suicide!

I just thought of another improvement: When choosing survivors to get trained at a school for a particular profession, any survivors who are already at 10.0 (not counting equipment) for the profession being trained should be removed from the list of survivors for the "mission". After all, they're already at max skill, so it doesn't make sense to train them further. *To be clear*, a 10.0 scientist should not be able to get more science training, but should be able to get builder training, for example.

Great game, just like the first i'm hooked. However I did notice something rather odd in bother games, when you reclaim a building, all resources or food there disappear and you don't get them. Same with the survivors. Is this intentional? I don't know just seems weird. Anyway good job Sarahnorthway!

Excellent game play, loved how I could carry my team of 5 best characters from one city to the next..... Only got overun once, and that was the first time I played on impossible setting (Loved finishing Impossible mode)....... how about rebuild 3 being played from the zombies point of view? taking over city blocks and infecting/recruiting more zombies .....
