Erm - I had a character called "Lance Armstrong" who lost an eye in a fight, then the game gave him an eyepatch and named him "Lance 'winks' Armstrong". How Epic is that!

I thank you for the ability to take the upgraded people with you to he next level.... I still can't beat Rebuild on the Hard difficulty. :(

I had over fifty survivors, as well as the whole map, and that 'chosen ones' cult went and killed every single one of them :(

Loved the first rebuild, this is definitevely an improvement on many aspects, way to go! Good IA levels, huge city is really huge, takes forever but was fun and rewarding. Could be an idea for the next chapters to give the player a further, bigger goal, noy just one city but maybe start with a small town, gather supplies, have a goal that forces them to move to the next city somehow, something like "the last stand 2". Also, would be great to merge a bit from that game, give the player an active (but not determinant) role in the battles (AND make them more dangerous, I personally never had a breakthrou in my walls...) Also, add more unexpected events, and add ammo management, it cannot simply reappear forever. Ammo is supposedly scarce. I give you all this feedback because i really loved the game, otherwise i wouldn't waste my time writing ;) Thanks a lot for this game, as I said, I really liked, probably my fav on kongregate :D

the hard achievement is a lot easier if you play through and get good characters on the easy difficulty first, then start a hard game with those characters.

Excellent game! Only two things I would suggest changing:
One, allow equipment to boost characters past the 10 skill max, otherwise some of it becomes relatively useless in the endgame.
Two, allow the option to not display otherwise occupied characters in the list when bringing up the list for a mission. Example: if I have people farming, I don't need them shown, grayed out, at the bottom of the list. The reason for this is that the huge number of people on a huge map causes a massive slowdown whenever one brings the list up.
Awesome game, regardless!

Instead of making a rebuild 3 if you were going to make one, make a debuild witch is the same but you are the zombies

Some tips for the hard badge: 1) Recruit as many people as you can. Scavenge as much as you can (until you get enough farms and weapons). 2) Secure police stations and fortify shopping malls as top priority. 3) Focus on the zombie killing research - the 3rd tier gives you 100% defense bonus. 4) The city hall is the quickest way to win (imo) and will be found in one of the corners of the maps. Use scouts to quickly expand your vision and find/secure the city hall as soon as you can. You will still need to capture enough buildings to meet the objective. 5) Reclaim/move towards the corner the city hall is in. This will ensure that the zombie horde will only attack you from 2 sides instead of 4, and give you more focus on what land to reclaim. 6) By mid game you should aim for 5 teams: 1 recruiting team, 2 kill teams, 1 scavenging team (for weapons/tools), 1 quick reclaim team (1 turn reclaims). 7) Events to avoid: preaching in the church by the chosen ones, the mad scientist.

Rebuild 3 needs to be a global game, where the successful cities from Rebuild 1 and 2 team up to take care of the global zombie problem, destroying both the crazy necromancers and science lab, taking care of the inevitable hostile tribes that sprouted out in the mean time.
Just an idea, of course.

I put my headphones on to listen to this game as it loaded, and was like "Wow this game has really good music." Then I looked over at another tab on my browser ... and realized pandora was playing. When the in-game music actually DID come on, it wasn't pretty :P

dont say he is offering 25 days rations and then only give me 25 food because 25 days of rations would be 500 if i've got 20 people.

i hate how everyone dies due to the church of the chosen ones it ruins the game + if you agree - if your an idiot do nothing if you dont give a care
