Whatever you do NEVER EVER let osme one preach about zombies. The kill themselves thinning your number AND decrease defensive numbers. NOT GOOD!

Excellent game, even better than the first, and that was great! 5/5. However, i think that it really needs some sort of internal volume control for sound and background music!

Rebuild 1 was so good there was almost nothing to improve, and yet here you are, with an improved version of it anyway. All these new random events are really fun, and being able to direct the course of them to some extent is even more so!

Tips:
1) Expand aggressively at the start before waves that are too huge to defend against come. 2) Unrecruited people (blue person icons) are untapped resources, so don't conquer squares until you recruit everyone on that square.
3) Zombies don't attack every night. If it says you have 25% chance of suffering losses _if_ they attack, your chances of actually losing something is much lower, like 10%.
4) 11 points of building power lets you capture squares in a single turn, so aim towards that, once you can do that, make sure you capture every turn and carry some other people along to make them good builders faster (than by training in school).
5) Expand in a single direction until you reach the perimeter. This drastically reduces the number of zombies surrounding your fort at a single time.

A very good game, great work! Nevertheless, there are a few things that bother me:
1. Why do I not get all the food and supplies in a house when expanding the walls? I would not expect them to vanish upon conquering the square.
2. If there are survivors in a field I want to conquer, why are they simply gone? Normally, I'd expect they randomly either join the fort or fight or flee, but not disappear.
3. Why isn't it possible to change e.g. labs into sth different? I don't need three labs at once, I'd rather invest a bit of time and get an extra apartment instead.
As a remedy, I'd suggest making expanding the fort more difficult and dangerous unless you use several builders and soldiers/leaders, respectively.
Otherwise, I find the game well balanced.

@jstace: I just figured that out myself. You have to send a group of people against an incoming horde to progress in this quest. So when you get a large horde invading, send a group of soldiers to attack a square in front of the horde. The doctor claims to need you "to walk in front of a moving horde" - that's literal.

Has anyone found out what the crazy scientist ends up doing? I found 3 endings and then send 5 people to a new city and lost my old city, so i didn't get to find out. Awesome game btw

Great game. Very worthy sequel. One thing that has me thinking is the housing situation. If you were to make a third, I think a nice addition would be a removal of the population cap. Instead, a n increasing penalty to happiness once the 'housing cap' has been exceeded. If there's a zombie apocalypse, I'm not going to care where I sleep. Still 5/5.

Yeah, the music is nice, but after the intro credits ("art by" and "music by"), I only get the empty background image (skyline of a city) and the ominous music. Nothing else. Don't you just love flash?

Wish you could adjust the avatar manually, face, hair, glasses, hat, instead of clicking for a random one. Or is there a way to do that already?

some ppl said they wanted to see how infested are the areas without having to click one by one, to do that u just need to click the three colors rectangles under the stats menu

Its ok if you like this game, I like the first one a lot, but don't sit there and tell me that this game has made leaps and bounds over the first game. It's like another user said, that it's more of an expansion pack than a sequel

THe first time I played, hardest difficulty with a random city name and I won easily, without any riots or starvations, the second time I played I named my city Black Mesa and my leader G.Freeman, I played it on easy and there were riots and starvation within the week.
