the hard badge isn't too hard if you first play an easy game, take every building and then use the schools to max out 5 people to start again in a harder game.

You could improve the items in the next game. Still, some items jsut look very very wierd on survivors, you could make them more realistic. Other than that great 5\5!

There should be a multiplayer option... I really liked it overall as I liked Rebuild 1, new greater functions though! A trusty dog, is a pug xD... As I enjoy Zombie Games I always play them on the hardest mode, and impossible sure is challenging.... And impossible, I would like to see a Rebuild 3 with some muliplayer perhaps ^^

Addictive? You betcha! After hours of toilsome bad luck (whilst shooting for the "Ultimate Rebuilder Badge"), I finally managed to start off with defensive buildings nearby and get my people toughened up right away. As I assume yibgib implied in a comment, the hours invested into claiming every single square was worth that joy and pride of conquering every single square of the city :D

got all 100 buildings,researched everything finished every ending,overthrew the church had sex with dirty women 20 times sold all my items...what now,i love happilly ever after^^?

Excellent game! 5/5
The change to make building and scouting 100% safe is a huge departure from the original. Making those 2 actions always safe makes your soldiers a lot more available. So this makes defense and acquiring new blocks much easier than the original Rebuild. Kinda took away some of the challenge.
Allowing your people to hold multiple skills (scientist + builder + soldier) made the game much more flexible but also made losing one devastating (for the short term, I guess--wasn't easy to replace an all-ten person but it was do-able).
The items are a cool enhancement, too. It was really, really nice to equip scientists with school books. Items made early to early-mid game a lot more pleasant.
Overall, the original seemed much more difficult. Or maybe I became much more awesome at this game inbetween releases? I played Impossible on the Huge map and beat it on my first try. It was really fun, though, so no complaints.

So when you get a survivor to tend crops they produce one extra food, which is as much as they eat normally... in the end your farms are like stasis, nice

Really enjoyed it... but it seems to be much easier than original... much easier. Passed the game on the first try while playing on "seriously hard".

Had random ideas! What if there was a campaign version of the game? Like, you rebuild MULTIPLE cities in order to save the world? Basically there is a map of different cities with different difficulties and you try to save each city to rebuild the entire world. :D I love this game so much! I was excited when I saw "Rebuild 2!"

(to Arus51) Yeah, but you're not gonna get every single survivor. There will be plenty of other (possibly better) chances, so it's best to just take the Suburbs and sacrifice those survivors, and continue progressing as quickly as possible. Don't worry too much about it. ^^

@frpenn6 : Seriously? This is a game about cannibalistic corpses! You're totally cool with kids seeing those, and you're perfectly fine with the guns, the violence, the blood, the explosions, and the corpse-worshipping cult, and the human experimentation...but not the "anti-catholic bigotry" (Every religion has its nut jobs, and even at the age of eight - if I'd been allowed to play a game with flesh-eating dead people in it at the time - I wouldn't have thought "wow, all Catholics must really be evil bikers on the inside! I'd better stay away from them in a zombie apocalypse!"), "abusive language" (Would you really say "aww, shucks" if your best friend got bitten by an infectious undead monstrosity?), and "prostitution" (Giving people the choice to do the moral thing should earn brownie points in the world you apparently live in!) ? Those kind of priorities make me think either an idiot or a troll wrote that comment.

great game.simply fantastic,i was already hooked on the first one then i saw this one which is even better.you are an amazing game maker and i thank you for making this great game.now i could go on for hours saying things you could do to make the game even better,but i wont becouse im not greedy enough to ask for a 3rd one.well happy game making sarah.PS to players,dont let that guy open up that church,trust me on that.

Fun Game. miss the "assign all" to guard duty. A few things could be changed to make it a good game for kids and would not take away the quality of the game, namely: 1) remove all abusive language (the silly button will not keep kids from pushing it), 2) no need for anti-Catholic bigotry, just name it a gang of thugs, 3) Gus' caravan could have other things to make people happy besides prostitution. These kind of things make me think an immature adolescent designed the game.

Damn! This is a very good game! I suggest to improve it cuz this is one of the most addictive zombie game here in kongregate.......
