It might be a good tips for some, so give + if its useful...if you made the wrong choice in rebuild 2, for example allowing the curch of the chosen one to prosper (they sacrifice people later), and decided to restart, then i suggest you wait until you finished either one of the ending. When you click on the ending maker building (after you passed the ending and choose to continue playing), you'll be given the option to choose some of your citizen to move from the town to rebuild another new town. Its like a restart, but with a lot better and strategical starter citizens of your version instead of a random citizen with low skills. I was clicking on the helicopter and the citizen i chose just go using helicopter to the new town, and i start over with max skill on almost all skill. Just remember to chose your created first leader (if he/she's still alive) among the survivor, so that they dont die from the church of the chosen one crazy sacrifice :P

The fact that you can send some of your people to a new city makes me want to see a rebuild where you can go to set cities in a campaign mode.

Got a win on "seriously hard". Easier in this game than the original.
I restarted until I got a hospital, a big farm, and an apartment immediately next to my starting tiles. I saved that start, but as it turns out, didn't need to reload at all. Took the pistol as the starting perk, gave it to a soldier. A hospital and food were my main priorities, then food, then housing/recruiting.
I scavenged a lot in the early game, even delayed reclaiming buildings to keep having a go at scraps. Quite often went as high as 20% risk to the fort in order to keep attacking and expanding.
Not sure if research order made a difference, but again, I prioritized food. I declined the mad scientist because I only had one lab when he showed up.
Happiness became a problem eventually, especially when there was starvation for a few turns.
Took some casualties, but not a lot. As I said, easier than the original IMO.

Woohoo, you beat the Last Judgement Gang, you won the game cause the city is finally save now......... it's not like there are still hundreds of zombies out there...

This is awesome game, but i really don't think it's very balanced at least on higher difficulties. Impossible to do anything when zombies grow 3 times faster then you, and morale is another poblem. Around day 60 I always die. I am probably missing something..

there should be a farming skill that makes a guy harvest more food from farms and u should be able to find fertilizer that will increase farm production for a couple days

A way to customize your character would be great! It gets tedious clicking through the randomizer for 10 minutes only to go past the one you want

"Some think the chruch is a suicide kult, should we throw over the church?"
Nah, they probably wont do anything. 2 days later: "Sugar III have become a chosen one, and have left this life"
This continued nearly each day... I should probably have thrown over the church...

I loved Rebuild and I loved Rebuild 2. I loved the improvements as well as the removal of the worker deaths wehn spying or reclaiming, but the game seems like it has become a bit easy even on impossible setting - so long as you can manage not to run out of food or people ot happiness(that sounded better in my head..) in the first few dozen days..I'm at a bit of a loss at what to suggest..Probably just a matter of tweaking numbers for zombie attacks though it might do best with some more events or more things to do once you're stabilized with every resource. I'm not going to rate it any lower than 5/5 but it's definitely something to think about for Rebuild 3.

@Narziss, you have to wait until there is an explosion. the lab goes out of your fort and both the scientists on the job die but when you reclaim the lab you search it and you get the real cure for zombieism. The only problem is, it's in Russian or some other language, I don't remember. eventually you translate it and can research the cure for zombieism and win the game that way.

Wth there's some animation of zombies spitting on each other, then they spit on a soldier, then some random guy is sleeping and a crow flys on him and the animation restarts!? WTF MAN that ruined my game :D:D:D

I hated rebuild 1, because I couldn't figure out the game mechanics. Now that the mechanics are clear, I can strategize properly. Rebuild 2 is EPIC!!

WOW screw the zombie church... *spoiler* about to win and then everyone starts celebrating and killing themselves.. no 1 wants to do anything and slowly everyone kills themselves.

This is so much better than the other game, but there are very small problems with it, like it seemed weird with that strap on the sniper, looked like a 7-year-old just drew lines for straps, no offense, for the most part... :l

on impossible, its a little too much, it says 30% danger, and i lose 3 people and 4 building and thats only 30 days in.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I liked the original rebuild better in terms of actual gameplay. The calculations that go into "danger" in this game have no bearing on anything nor does the amount of people you have on guard duty. It says danger goes down but it really means nothing. You can see this for yourself on gamesave reloads. Everything is totally random in terms of when the game decides you need to lose regardless of amount of people on guard duty.

After reloading saved games % danger seems to have very little if anything to do with the ACTUAL % chance of attack or land loss. Both of these things seem to be pre-ordained by the game.

One of the few games where I found the hard badge actually hard. Took me four tries before completing it. I was being far too defensive. The only real way to win is to be constantly expanding.
