Great game, it was really a proper sequel to Rebuild 1. It would have been nice to be able t edit character appearances manually.
@Everyone who's commenting on the difficulty.
Are you playing this on easy or something? Impossible is far harder than Rebuild I (at least for me).

SPOILER ALERT: Here are the 5 ways to win: 1. Obtain 30 buildings (most obvious one). 2. Find the zombie cure. 3. Defeat the Last Juidgement Gang. 4. Find City Hall, capture it, then form a legislation. 5. Find and eliminate the zombie portal. Now thwe real question is, how do you do all that? TOo bad im just showing u the win conditions. You want nto find out how to do all of em? Well figure it out for yourself.

Tip: If you're running low on food.. live an item un-equipped.. within a couple turns usually the trader will offer to buy it

After beating it all 4 ways, I think the first was better. I didn't like some of the missions being always safe(scouting and building), food didn't seem balanced, not enough at the beginning and too much at the end, until the end, I never had enough housing either, and in the first one you got some of the food at a location when you reclaimed it. I liked the higher amount of people from the first too, I could easily get over 100.

The trick for the "hard" achievement is that you can, after two win conditions (finishing the helicopter and writing a constitution) send 5 of your survivors to start a new city; you can reselect the size and difficulty of the new city as well. Thus, you can do one game on easy, get 5 survivors with 10s in all categories, equip them with the most beneficial items, and start a new city with extreme ease. Those five can handle your "offensive" moves (killing zombies/reclaiming blocks/scavenging) while new recruits can be setup with the items and handle defense (guard duty/crop tending/school) for the first two months until you're established well enough.
Won on day 57 via helicopter on seriously hard by this means.

A great improvement to an already great game. My only complaint is the look of the character models and how some of them look with the customized appearances. 4.5/5 :)

My starting character looked exactly like house.
After two gameplays I amassed a team that looked like the rest of house's team, including house.
Trying to tell me something, Zombie game?

my only complaint with this game is that the game window is a little bit too tall ... on my netbook, even in full-screen mode with the status bar removed, and at max resolution, the game doesn't quite fit ... sure, i could zoom out to 75%, but then things become hard to see on an already-small screen ...

I am freaking scarred with "Chosen Ones" thing. Mad creepy. When the church is creating the cult and you have to decision to decide whether its a cult or not. If u say yes, they started to kill themselves 1 by 1. If you say no, say kill two men but save everyone. This way you can get the badges without being f'ed.

Excellent game! Just beat it on challenging, leveled the hell out of five of my characters and started a game on seriously hard. Time to get that badge!

Oh wait, a second thing. The character selecter thing needs to be bigger. Well, taller. Squeeze everything down and push it up! Although you rarely need more than four people to do anything, when you get a lot of people and the hordes are far away, it's faster to train people by sending a bunch of them to do a simple task than using those schools. Especially in the beginning when nobody knows how to fight, then you can break out and sack everywhere around you. (The extra attack boost early game also helps you find stuff, as you can now scavenge safely with 3-4 without scouting. Hit only food places until you get past 60 food)

You defeated the last judgement gang, reducing the whole human conlnys by 1 just for the fun of it, because you didn't take wepeons or food.... you killed humans and not zombies... well it JUST make sense you win the game!

Wow... I named my leader Jim Raynor(Because who doesn't think Starcraft is awesome?) and later in the game i found a person named lieutenant Kerrigan... otherwise this is an awesome game!

don't let those church guys do stuff, in the end everyone just ends up killing themselves and doing no work whatsoever. At least I found 3 different endngs before everyone died

If you pay attention, there is something about that Big Graveyard that remembers many moments from Rebuild 1.
Thumbs up if you know what it is!

********SPOILERS!!!!!!**********
Secret Endings- Research the cure for the virus, Fix the Helicopter, Take back TownHall and 20 plots of land( i think this is one of them), and Defeat the Last Judgement Gang. Tell me if you find more.

this is even more fun than the last one, just one thing though I wish you could engage the cult and gang directly. Maybe have a 'cutaway' small city that belongs to the gang through the subway, and the graveyards-converted-to-churches become overrun once you begin resisting the church. Also does anyone else have Medieval flashbacks when starting on the copter/constitution? ONOES ZOMBIE CRUSADERS (fyi it DOES seem like they do more damage at the exact same danger level as a normal random attack.)

By the time i'm done with this game, i will have to rebuild my whole stinking computer, because of the stuff i will probably throw at it...

this is rebuild beta, not rebuild 2. but i like it. even the horribly mismatched heads and bodies of my fellow survivors grew on me.
