Okay, the game isn't that hard. You just need to relax and watch the notes on the screen. The first song is easy- if you can't do that then just play a different game. I'm actually better with the pro version of Mario and Zelda than the easier one because I listen to the song.
As for lag, I had none so stop blaming it. Seriously. The developer took a lot of time to get the songs and to make this game. I personally find this the best one out of all of the SBGMD games and got the medium badge without a second thought.

I dont know what it causing the lag, but I know the lag makes it impossible to get a Perfect. And the fact you have to go above and beyond bronzes to even UNLOCK the last few songs make the badge rather misleading. Medium my ass!

This game sometimes makes me want to throw my computer into my washing machine, turn the washing on on, and then drop it of of a plane into a canyon. Right as I am about to perfect a pro song, BAM! Lag and i miss the last 4 notes.

I sort of like it but i am unable to enjoy it, in my time of playing it i have actually got about 5 pro awards, problem is the the game lags out on notes for me, it is usually halfway through a song, i have tried on various different computers with no different result, well i got my 15 points from earning 15 points back in 08 so im happy lol

Wow.... was totally doing good but since the ASD keys are ont he far left side of the keyboard my palm ended up hitting the Windows button making the start menu pop up. Totally not cool man.

i hate this everytime the computer lags and the notes are a bit behind the music so you just cant get the hard songs perfect

such a shame designing music-based game in flash which is known for hogging the processor, lagging, and most importantly, terrible sound synchronization. especially under linux.
due to that it was actually easier for me to play with the sound on, and did it just to get the challenge badge. otherwise, until flash is fixed the game is simply unplayable on some systems and computers :(

Ugh, once again something online reminds me why I dislike rhythm games, and it is cause my left hand is always lol retarded and fails to hit notes while the right hand gets everything perfect.

Please take a note that everybody is not using a QWERTY keyboards. A, S, D letters are far away from each other in my keyboard. Unluckily, this makes the game unplayable. It would be nice if you add options to change these letters as we like.

BoeserTeddy, if you're still reading: On Run'n'Gun, I find it much easier to do the LRLRLRLR thing with first and medium fingers. Give it a try ^^

bah I think its more that my keyboard sends one + key in the last section where the blue and yellow come rapidly and it gives me -100 points.. :\ probably gonna have to try on another pc
