Mistic Master, make sure you dont hit the notes at a wrong time because if you hit them at a wrong time then you get however many your multiplier is X10 so you may be hitting 2 notes at the wrong time but the multiplier doesnt go down

if u get gold; u might have the problem of pressing a key wrongly. For every wrong arrow/a/s/d pressed; u lose how many points an arrow would give u. EG X5 multiplier; wrong note; no combo loss; -50 points

You can only get x10 on pro songs, he was talking about amateur. You don't get perfect if you play extra notes, extra notes do not reduce your multiplier, but it effects your score OR you don't hold the notes all the way.
