I see your point flash, but really, who is going to pay for a whole new computer over one game lagging? The statement that a game like this causes lag on average computers is simply that, most people aren't fully loaded with money to just go and get a brand new one. Although it would most likely cause save files to be wiped again, an option to take off the splash effect when the buttons are hit would probably stop alot of the lag.

i don't beleive it badges! my old file had like 70 award points... but it's gone it was called scgmd2master2007...T_T
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
it only took me hours to get the impossible badge.... because of the terrible lag.. I put it on low quality and no voice, yet still it would lag. So frusturating.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
look, the game lags, it's a fact. I full combo a song and it lags, even when I continue pressing the right note it still counts a miss. 1/5

u guys should read the instructions and figure out what perfecet and stuff is before u complain... it makes perfect sense. and if the song and notes arent in sync its ur own comps lag
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
These crappy songs tend to be so out of sync that I play better with the sound off, even when I turn the quality down to lowest and turn off the voice.

btw to prove my point, to get perfect on hollywise your score MUST BE 7147. ask anyone who has a perfect on that! i can give you a list of the songs and its scores for perfect if you want! (all on ameture, and zelda and the first 4 in pro)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
perfect is when you reach a certain score! that score is what you get when you get all the possible points. that means no missing notes. finishing off holded notes. not hitting a note when your not supposed to (cause you lose 10[*multiplyer] points). and anything that makes you lose points you hsouldnt do and you will get perfect! dont argue i know that you missed something or added something or didnt hold on to something and got a gold!

its not laggin so idno what u guys r tlkaing about
GREAT GREAT GREAT GAME

minus consol ones but this is as good as it gets for flash 5/5
fovrotited

I think I know what you're problem is: even if you get a perfect, if you hit a command with nothing there that corresponds to said command on the line, then you lose 10 points, and you're probably doing that once or twice. Just a thought though.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I too have gotten perfect on multiple songs to only get a gold medal. Someone needs to fix it so that when every note is hit you get perfect. Not just because you may have timed a note a little late or not held it down long enough. Lame

lorzoid, the perfect score for Guitar vs Piano 1.2 is 14125.
Keep It Simple, or they could try the far superior application StepMania, available at stepmania.com. :P

@Retrospek - It's true that there's a lot you can do with SQL; it's a great language for the domain it serves. Interactive applications, however, is not in that domain. Even Haskell would be easier in that respect, though I'd probably be more inclined to try to do something in a Lisp or in Erlang. Though, if SQL as a programming language was interesting to you, though, you might want to look into Prolog sometime...

Pretty cool game. Some suggestions, 6 lines, like a guitar, with A,S,D as your right and J,K,L as your left. Also space bar to strum, would give it more effect as if you are actually playing a guitar. 4/5 Cool game. For those who like the arrow part of this game, go to http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/FFR_the_Game.php

you know evilnme, if you really dont like the music, you can do what I do and mute the computer... I'm sure you have some other way of listening to music.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Getting the badges is impossible due to the lags. One missed Note or even just a lag ina 'hold-period' takes points and you lost an perfect award... that's very sad, since it's such a cool game :-(
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Or at least there was some sort of way to turn off the music. At least then I could listen to something good while playing "press the keyboard in time"
