*huff* *puff* I finally got 7 bronze. I hope I win the sweepstakes or my fingers might reach for my throat for making them hurt so much. xD

Don't know why all the bad comments, I liked the game. I liked the whole series, as well as the music. The only problem i have is lag with SCGMD3 1 n 2 are fine but this one lags a bit. 4/5

last song on the left is more harder than the ones on the right...
Congratulations! You've just completed the Smokin' Fingers Challenge! You have earned a ticket to enter in our sweepstakes!

To me, if the down arrow and the left arrows we switched, I'd be a lot better at this game. I learn my keyboard arrow order as Uo-Right-Down Left, and having the oder for rolls here Up-Right-Left-Down is something I just can't get used to. But, other than that, it's a very decent game.

Getting a bit tired of the FFR / Guitar Hero remakes... sure one or two flash versions would be fine, but now there's contests for it..
On a personal rant, there's like 1 song in each version that I maybe liked, rarely more, and is there any reason why you can't catch the extended notes midway if you miss them?

Wow... this music really sucks... and so does the gameplay. Arrow keys? Really? I'm only playing for the achievements. It's a wonder they've even accepted a third installation in the series.

Excruciating, even with the sound off.
This is pointless and derivative, and there are so many more games on this site that are deserving of the feature status that this game got.
My apologies to the designer.

I enjoy Rock Band, but only because I actually feel like im playing an instrument, not mashing my keyboard buttons to terrible music which sounds like it was recorded in the developers garage. 1/5 only because thats the lowest rating I can possibly give it.

Just to throw my two cents in this 840 page pot, I like the idea and it's a bit fun, but there are too many buttons to be pressed. I think the ddr/ffr and guitar hero numbers of buttons are more appropriate and are much more natural to do. The game skips for me and muting the chat, killing my other programs and tabs, and lowering the quality don't help. I can't get perfect even on the easiest song when it's skipping notes. The ticket, easy badge, and medium badges are about all I can take of the gameplay.

All the stupidity of Guitar Hero AND Pineapple Express (a movie that was more of a waste than anyone should have ever made - bad acting, bad script, bad idea....thanks for wasting money, Hollywood)

All the boredom of guitar hero, without getting to feel like playing an actual guitar!
Awesome. Even if i won the PS3, i'd just pawn it off. Totally not worth it.

I have a pretty hot PC and notice that every now and then the music gets just a tiny bit out of sync -- If I stay with the music nothing matches and after a while even staying on the line doesn't work. I just have to wait out a bar and let it all sync up again. Good thing I'm not a guitar player! I'll stick with the keyboard or winds.

no lag at all for me, but I am using a custom built comp. songs are fine, contest was easy to get. just takes a little skill. 4.5/5

This game is like drag racing before learning to drive. Learning music is always slow-fast-slow-fast. Learn the notes at very slow, then try at full speed, then slowly practice a difficult part, then try full speed, and repeat until everything works at full speed. Practice mode should allow repeating a section at several speeds.

Need a different system for indicating missed notes. The volume dropping for mistakes greatly increases the difficulty. Playing guitar with a band, when I lose my place, I skip a measure to match timing with the drums. The variable volume loses the best information for matching the timing.

Awful default controls. The left hand matches well with the keyboard turned sideways, but the right hand cannot match 4 fingers for 4 rows using the arrow keys. The middle finger cannot remain on one key. Let players reassign keys. The current keys are better for piano; most guitar players would switch hands -- more comfortable with the left hand doing intricate fingering.

Synch and music kinda suck, but I like the umm... nevermind. I guess the reason I dislike it so much is cause I've played Guitar Hero/ Rock Band and this reminds me of a uber watered down version of it.

"its not fair to rate a game low because you have a slow computer bob, but i don't like type of game either. "
LOL trust me, the skipping has nothing to do with the speed of my computer. And fyi, try reading a few more reviews. Almost half of them are about the game skipping. If half of everyone's computers are too slow, which you seem to be suggesting, then don't you think that probably reflects badly on the game?

its skippy, it doesnt register hits i KNOW that i hit correctly, a whole list of other bugs, but a damn good addicting game. 3.5/5
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Most of my "mistakes" are due to the damned player skipping. Flash is so pathetic...particularly it's sound capabilities.

Gaddammit, just play the game. It took me 20 minutes to get the PS3 ticket, and I lagged. For all you complainers who think the challenge is rigged, GOOD. I prefer less competition.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The UI is horrid. Your eyes are constantly looking around trying to find the next note and you're no longer trying to just play the notes. This just adds to the already high degree of difficulty. Difficulty ramps up far too much from the second. I averaged gold on 2, lucky to get bronze on 3. And I played 2 just last night. Beginning songs should train you for the pro songs, not all the songs kick your a**. Songs are hit and miss. Main thing is, please, make the in game UI better. I would definitely prefer no hold buttons as well. Holds, yes, separate buttons, no. Customizable keyboard would be nice for this game too. I would consider this a step down from number two. As for people complaining of choppy game play, it played fine for me, probably better PC/internet needed. Did have lag once, but that was Kon Chat trying to load a badge. Hopefully SCGMD4 will be better. Careful though, if it is just as bad, you might as well count these games as dead and move on. Final verdict: 2.5/5

Pretty fun game here. Got some decent music too, and has about the same entertainment value of Guitar Hero without the $60 price tag.

Oh fantastic! The game with bad songs that looks like other bad games with bad songs just got the loot challenge! This will be an unpleasant ticket to earn....
I'm not rating the game as it is not the developers fault if it's a genera that I think sucks. (I'm nice that way ;D)
