To get minimalist, don't press a single key throughout the entire song. To get butterfingers, make 1000 mistakes during the length of a song.

even when you mute the room chat you still get a slight jump when people enter or leave the room... it is only really annoying though when you are trying to get all the songs perfect and someone enters the room on the 2nd to last note of the hardest song and makes you miss the note
