it doesnt give you the feeling that your playing guitar at all, i dont know where you guys got it from but i think youve never played a real guitar before in your life so do that first and then judge, weak compared to gh 1,2,3,rock the '80s

I love this game. The new interface is really proffessional.
The only thing that spoils this at all is the added hold button. I'm not a big fan of the idea.
Love the new songs though. I actually find that my favourites are the two 'simple' ones.

Extra key give me cramp, the songs aren't good, the softening of a song makes it less fun and it dosen't run smoothly.

GRAAAAAAAAAAGH! THEY FUCKED IT UP!
2 was waaay better, the songs were better, even the whole gameplay was a little better! I mean, 4 hold keys is impossible! and the song are waaay to long to get perfects!3/5 because it has such great potential though

Well, personally, I loved the second, so prepare for giant wall-o-text.
This one just seems to be trying too hard now. The songs aren't as good as the second, the video game themes were great to play and most of the other songs were enjoyable. The songs in this one lack that quality; all of them, plus they are also much longer which I think takes away from the fun of it somewhat. Also, I think adding another button to the mix was rather unnecessary, the old formula was great, it was simple yet challenging at some points. This is probably my only real issue with the game. Otherwise, the new interface is nice to look at, the actual response time of the game seems to be improved a little(but this could just be me because I used to experience instances of lag in the previous one), and it's still enjoyable if to a lesser extent than 2 was.
I rated this game at a 3/5, good, but not great.

Sorry to say so, but it is a lot worse than the 2nd, which was great for me. 2 was much more comfortable to play, the graphics were better and the songs as well. The songs in this version here lack a certain drive and they are too long. I miss the videogame music and pearls like guitar vs piano or run'n' gunand I also don't like the stopping of everything if you get a mistake, even if the idea is good. Sad, since it had such a lot of potential.

A horrible addition to the series, the new visuals are painful and take away from the "stick" feel of the game. The songs are decent (given the circumstances), but still lack a consistent theme. A significantly tough game, causing you to replay certain songs several times before even acheiving a medal. Overall the game lacks the popular visuals of the first game, and adds nothing new to the series so therefore it deserves a 3/5 (and yes, im being generous).

#2 was better, and that so lame the song just stops if you make a mistake, it would be ok if the guitar stopped but not the singing and drums too
eh 4/5
