I have a DSL connection. I set the graphics to lowest quality and turned of all effects and it still lagged worse than a CS game on a dial up connection with kids from Turkey. Blah.

There IS an option, you obviously havent looked for it. Right at the beginning of every song, in big bold lettering, TOGGLE EFFECTS. With sparklies too!

grub119, before you start a sone, there is an option to turn on and off effects, which will turn off the rings hope it helps ^^

Can you PLEASE make it an option to get rid of the rings that flash when you hit a note? It makes the game lag even worse, especially when you have to constantly hit held notes in a row and play other notes with them.
