Is there any way to remove the lag? I removed all sound, reduced quality, and even muted the chat but I don't know what to do. My computer is from two months ago, bought brand new from microcenter with 3 gigs ram so I don't think its the computer. Anyone else having this problem? Any solutions out there?

Agh! The more I try for the challenge the worse this game gets! The very first some gets *completely* out of sink around 2/3 of the way through! What the hell?! Before I was taking the attitude that I won't rate this due to never really liking the genera anyway but enough is enough! I give you 1/5.

I cant get the impossible badge.. not because im bad but because of the lag... on one song i missed the last note because it lagged lol i wanted to shoot my computer

3/5 because no matter how much u play u dont get better and the different keys for the holds is confusing and im not hating on this game because i dont like this type. i LOVE music games but this is the only one that im bad at and it pisses me off >_>

The game is really funny and well done and the song are nice too, but a little too hard If only it would be a little slower... About the lag, those are a curse, they ruin the entire game and they aren't caused by chat, EVEN IF YOU MUTE THE CHAT THE LAG STILL HAPPENS, I really don't know if it's caused by the game itself or it's the Kongregate page...
Besides this I've rated it 4/5...

Kazini. If you're can turn on a computer and navigate your cursor, clicking appopriately, you can use Cheat Engine. I don't know if those things constitute 'good' computer skills

Ok...i correct myself...there is some actual interesting elements in this game...blending notes and holds and such is pretty cool...but the commentary is incredibly annoying. Was going to up my rating, changed my mind.

Lol...to be totally honest, guitar hero isn't that hard of a game to rip off, but this is way too simple to be called a rip off...you hold the keys? really? that's it? no strumming...and hold notes vs regular notes are different keys...a very honest lol here. Only played this game for the challenge, now finding it silly =D

Sorry about that, its bandwidth, determined by how many people are on your network, your nic/router (If wireless)
and how many people are on the Internet around your physical location.
You can have the worlds most advanced computer, but if your neighbor is addicted to bit torrent, you fail it.
Don't hate on what you know nothing about Setari, the government was given plenty of money to fix the landline issue, they fail, not Shinki
Oh, and Shinki, a preloader for the songs would help immensely.

The only reason why you say it's bad is because you're not good at it(because you don't practice) or because you have an unreliable internet connection.

this game really sucks, quite frankly.
The part how you can't fail is dumb, especially the COMPLETE lack of some kind of struming. Really, epic fail.

Lags making it impossible to play...
Phenom 9850 / Sli 8800 GTS(bfg) / 3gb ram / XP... Even crysis never lags with parallel rendering...

The longer notes kept messing up. They kept on saying I hit something else during them when I never did. The note sustained, but it counted toward my mistakes.

Despite what some are saying about how the game shouldn't be rated down based on the lag, as it's the fault of the computer, I'm giving this a 3/5 basically because of that. That's a six out of ten. That's awful. My computer isn't top of the line, sure, but it should be able to handle a flash game. As should practically everyone elses computers. Which means its probably not the computers screwing up, but that the code is too complicated. When I'm incapable of getting a perfect on the FIRST LEVEL because notes are warping past where I need to hit them, it means your game is bad. In fact, the only real reason your game isn't getting a two or three out of ten is because the graphics are fairly decent, which shows you actually put time in it.

luckily my computer is fast enough that it only jumps every now and then. but i did this like early last year so completeing the challenge was easy cause ive already got every song perfect

I just saw Lucias DA's comment and I completely agree. Seriously, those dumb "Pretend you're cool by playing pretending you're playing a guitar" are, well, dumb.

not impressed...
the game maker obviously has talent, but this type of game is pointless, if I wanted to play the guitar I'd pick one up... try to venture with something people can't do in regular day lives or come up with an idea thats fresh.

its a good game i like how u use the arrow keys and 1/4 or asdf but i have it on lowest quality and no effects and it still lags and jumps around

The lag is a problem i have as well. Sometimes, the lag causes the notes to skip past my click.
I had the key tapping delay problem before. But that is not intrinsic to the game, but it depends on your computers speed.
Game should not be penalized or rated lower for these "bugs" since they arent true bugs and only depend on the speed of your computer.
