Really - it's get better, and easiear for me than the second one.
But those who claim it is hard - it's the sort of videogame, so it's just all in practise. Down't downrate the game, you just don't like the hardness of.

To the people who go on this site and complain about games being too hard: You're the cancer that's ruined video/computer games for the rest of us. Go back to playing Halo or something and quit whining.

As most people already said, the songs are too long and kinda suck. And yeah, not everyone will be able to enjoy this game since it is too tough for most new comers.
4/5 nevertheless.

My keyboard doesn't always register that I hit a key if I hit it a lot in a row, very annoying on switch vs evildog round 2 near end.My keyboard is mean to me.

9948067: It doesn't if your hands get tired. It even says that this one is harder than the second, so don't be an unfair guy. I loved it. Much more upgrades and more notes. So awesome. %/%

I really liked the second but this one is nowhere near as good. This one has better graphics but the songs are so much harder and longer=hand fatigue so 2/5

i found it was ok, but still has issues. 1) too long songs 2) missing note = no sound = lame 3) uh... wtf where'd the skill division go? 3/5
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Personally the songs are much too long, and while I can't say they suck... I don't really care for them either. I say stick to guitar versions of 8, 16, and 32-bit games (Mario, Zelda, F-Zero, you know what I mean). And on top of that... the difference in the skill required from SCGMD2 and 3 is... quite large, having the Amateur and Pro sections separate in the last game was nice, even if a couple songs showed up on both sides.

I agree with Ropma. Though this is a wicked game, the songs are too long and they kinda suck. Most of them suck especially for this kind of game. They're hardly melodic at all, Speedfreak being the worst. Perhaps a bad recording? Regardless, shitty song.

serious issues with this game
the songs get off from the notes so it's hard to keep on beat
the songs are too long
and i hate how the music gets quiet when you miss a note, it throws me off
3/5
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
There's no amateur and i find that lame. And there are too many repeating rythms and i hate that you can't hear the music when you miss a note, it throws me off beat.
1/5

Seriuosly, the songs are too long.. and they suck too... if this game had the songs it has on 2 it would be better.. they are nicer and shorter xP

in case ppl want to know, you get the minimalist guitar by going through a song w/o hitting a note and butterfingers by getting over 1000 mistakes in a song.
review-wise, im likin this game...but its just missing something that makes it worse than the first one. there are more repeating rhythms for one thing and i dont know how i feel about that. still good though.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The names "minimalist" and "butterfingers" come from Super Smash Bros. and were bad bonuses that took away points after a match for playing a certain way.

I have unlocked every song and have beaten them all on at least silver (except for 2) and you get butterfingers by getting a 1000 mistakes and you get minalist by not playing song

Great game, tough, but not frustratingly so. I like the ability to switch between 1234 and asdf, but I liked it better when they were on the lines instead of with the arrows.

well i've been holding off on my comment for a while, but now that i've unlocked all the songs and almost all the guitars, i figured it's about damned time i say something. imho, this version is better than #2 in MOST categories. i may be on of the few that like the longer songs, but thats a plus for me. The interface is better and the stick man nods his head to the beat (way cool). but i do have to say that i agree with most that several of the songs (singers really) blow hardcore. however this is not the fault of the programmer entirely, so i give it 4.5/5 and +fav

gravedog - I've unlocked them all. Last one's fun - "Am I wrong?" "You're not wrong, Walter, you're just an asshole!" LOL

BIG improvement over number 2 - better visuals all around, especially. I like this one a whole lot better. The difficulty is tough but not so tough it isn't fun to try and master. Having a blast with one.

Blargh... SO much harder than the last two. But I do like the set up better. My only complaint is that the vocals of the songs absolutely suck (in my opinion) and there should be some sort of instrumental option. But aside from that, SCGMD3 is definitely living up to its standards. 4/5

this one is kinda good and it says its harder while it is loading and the songs weren't that bad all together i think it is pretyy good
