Hi guys! JUST got the impossible badges for SCGMD2 and SCGMD3 today. A few tips: Don’t just watch the bar – watch a bit to the right so you can see what’s coming. If you can read the notes in groups of three or four, it'll be a lot easier to not slip up. If you're having trouble with a specific group of notes, try to practice it before you begin the song - muscle memory can help A LOT. And if the pattern is too long for you to remember, play the song you're having trouble with and press the "Prt Sc" key as soon as you see the pattern. Then open a Word document and hit Ctrl+V, and you'll have a screenshot of the pattern! Practice it and perfect it. (You'll thank me when you play Betrayal of Fate, the pattern halfway into that song is particularly evil.) And if you're still having problems... just download osu!mania and play it for two months. Even the hard songs will feel easy after that. Hope you appreciate my advice - and if you do, please + this so others can see it. Good luck!

For those who (like me) perfected all songs without a problem, here's the challenge: perfect all songs using only one finger from each hand. I'm trying that (for now having 5 perfects , 8 golds and silver on Train Wreck - this one is hard in this mode) and having a lot of fun.
Achieving two-fingers full perfect seems possible. Only Train Wreck is very hard due to frequent double hold notes, I think I will perfect all other songs that way soon.

After playing the pro songs on Super Crazy Guitar Maniac Deluxe 4 (Called SCGMD4 here on Kong) The songs in this game feel slow and easy.

Damn that "The Fade" song. It would easy to get perfect without that one stupid part where you need to smash arrows rapidly. That is not the problem, but you just can't count your pressings and there always comes "mistakes" which are not mistakes really. Just stupid note design :P

Damn this 4 left finger system just kills me. Especially "Train Wreck" song. I love to try that song but I just can't press those long double notes with little finger and ring finger same time. My left hand is the weaker hand anyways.. And a top of that, those arrows also. Damn.

Hi, I got a problem with "Train Wreck" by Noise Pollution: when the arpeggio finishes there's a certain key that never gets pressed no matter how I time it. I don't think this is a problem on my hand, is it a common thing?

Sometimes when I press the keys it does count as it being hit even though I timed it perfectly.. and I know for a fact the game screwed up on me because it doesn't come up as a key mispressed

This game's actually got the best gameplay of them all in my opinion. The timing's much more loose and flexible. With SCGMD4 you've gotta be real precise with the notes you hit but this one you can have some delay and/or be a bit early with em and I like that.
Of course this makes it a bit easier, but at the same time more fun since you can hit stuff you wouldn't normally be able to on other games as consistently as you can here.

I've finally traced the moving monitor to Plan A by Nick Crockett. Played twice back to back it took minutes for my monitor to settle.

finally, after all those years, with enough month-long breaks and once losing my entire progress, i finally got the impossible badge :)

Still, the easy badge isn't that difficult, you just need three points, either a gold star on one song, or two silvers on the first two songs.
All the other badges are FAR more difficult without lots of practice

The note charts here completely suck and are not completely in tune to the songs themselves.
Just play the game muted to make it easier on you

marcops9 You suck and this isn't an insult to you as a gamer it is because of how you addressed those of us who haven't managed to do what you did. If the game isn't hard for you then kudos to you but don't insult those who are struggling with it. That is just bound to tick someone off.

*notes that there is an option to Toggle Voice. Hits it in the hope it will take out the horribly out of key singing on the first track. Is bitterly disappointed when it does not.

I usually refrain from commenting stuff like this, but to those complaining about how hard the game is: It isn't hard. You just suck. Seriously, I intentionally missed the entire solo of In Your Eyes and I still got silver. SILVER. Two thirds done the easy badge and I just didn't do the hard part of the song, which is laughable to something like, oh, I don't know, the last four songs available. I perfected this game 5 years ago on a stupid old POS that lagged to hell and back. Contrary to what you say, there is a little wiggle room with the notes-you can be a bit early or late. It isn't pixel-perfect; otherwise it would really be impossible. If I could get 56 award points back in 2012, you can get 3 in 2017. Just be glad they didn't give you the medium badge on SCGMD2. Harder game, plus you have to perfect a song for that one.

The first song: In Your Eyes by Verax. When your progress bar at the top starts to reach "Verax", prepare for the "simple" difficulty to become insanely hard.
