to crazyboy: thats a nice idea but i think it would be very difficult if not impossible to achieve... it would need to do notes based on frequency and or loudness ... and with todays music and the level of distortion on some songs they just wouldnt process properly even if it was possible
but very nice game perfected number 2 and am now striving to perfect this one
good job
5/5

I'm pretty sure an option would be available that can allow note custimization once the program generalizes the whole entire music track...

Crazyboy > I know there are some programs that do that for stepmania songs... but they tend to be 'meh'-ish, all looking the same =/. I don't know if it's possible to use something like that in a flash game though...

You know what I'd like to see next in the series? A function that allows you to import your personal music and have the game generize a note set so you can play your song. It allows you to play copyrighted music on the game without infringeing any copyrights, as the music is being used for your own personal use.Maybe I'm asking too much though. Not speaking as a programmer, though, I should think it easy to write acomputer program to analyse a song and put certain notes on certain sound on the song. Great game though, Shinki!

Could you also try setting up the keys to where it goes from down to up? I'm pretty sure that people who played this game for a long while from at a time will start shiftin their own vision in the opposite direction from all the right to left motion.

i finally got used to it's hightened difficulty and it has gotten pretty addicting, now i have i changed my mind, instead of a 2/5, 5/5!!!!!!!!!!!

I would like to see both holding and tapping note commands in the arrow as well as the 1234(asdf) keys... oh and... I'd feel alot better if the arrow keys were reassigned to the jkl; keys just to complicate things less....

AMAZING, I got 5 perfects, and unlocked asshole, its the best sng EVER, also quite harder that SCGMD2 which is good, cuz that one was really easy, congrats Shinki

ReDcRoW I agree a pause button would be nice, but it would make it far too easy to do, as you could stop and check what was coming rather than being rushed. Maybe just shorter songs :P

@altessa, I feel exactly the same way for some reason. The 2nd one just got me addicted right off, this one, I had to wait for a boring Friday evening before I loaded a second time. Still very fun though.

I preferred scgmd2. it was more arcade-ish and addictive, for some reason. And I liked the songs on scgmd2 better too. this one is definitely harder and more challenging though. its fun but not as immediately enjoyable as its predecessor :D

on SCGMD2 it says when it loads tht there r 2 songs deleted. go on flashportal and go on the SCGMD2 there and u have the deleted songs

It would probably be good if the songs didn't suck. Then again, sometimes you aren't even doing things are guitar related. At the beginning of "Nobody Else" by Noise Pollution(fitting name) there's guitar, but nothing to hit. And sometimes you play bass and synth.
Better songs and better syncing to the songs would be nice. I give it a 2.

the butterfinger and minamalist guitars are dusty for minimalist and key-bored for butterfinger and to do them listen to this
butterfinger:press any notes rapidly to get 1000 mistakes
minimalist:play the song but dont do anything else

Overall, I like it. I don't like the song length, though. In 2 you could be playing through the song all the way and practicing it, but in this game, practicing, especially anything in the end, takes a lot longer. I, unfortunately, don't have that kind of time.

minimalist: hit NO NOTES
blutterffingers: This one is fun....when you play a song, hit random keys, so you get 1000 mistakes

Harder than number 2, the song choices are a bit worse, the switch from ASD to 1234/ASDF was pointless, but not a terrible game. Just worse than two. A million times better than one, mind.

Fun game, so glad I can turn that voice off, it really threw me a few times. Awfully unforgiving, perfects are tough to earn.
