wierd, evrybody just keep yelling about how hard it is. While i in the FIRST TRY got perfect on the first song!! And also when you guys just can't stop yelling, im actually trying to get better at this game! So stop yelling and start playing if you want the badges!!

My laptop keyboard had some irritating issues with key registration that made long holds difficult, but I plugged in a high-quality USB keyboard and rode it to all the perfects.
I don't think the songs in SCGMD3 are as good as those in 2, but that's just because I dislike the current popular vocal styles - the hoarse off-pitch yelling, and the hoarse metal growl.
The game itself was greatly improved, especially by the addition of three features: Mistake/Hit tracker; song progress bar; and mouseless song-starting capability. I also like that one doesn't have to choose a guitar before starting each song.
5/5, and my compliments to the hacker.

I always disliked the guitar imitation games, but for some reason I like SCGMD2 faaaaaaaaaaaaar better then this one. Actually I don't even care that I am not going to get any of the badges for this game...

I know they are trying to immitate the misses by halving the volume, but you shouldn't do that with the individual instrument tracks.

For Kain:
Butterfingers: Mash keyboard to get over 1000 mistakes.
Minimalist: Don't touch a single key throughout an entire song. Done.

Not the biggest fan of the SCGMD series... but people have been asking where to play the first one. Here's a link:

But a warning: prepare for disappointment.

I like the game overall, but stick to instrumentals until you can actually get bands with lead singers that know how to sing.

lol its way better than scgmd2 its just got crappier songs lol and if you hate it you probably suck at this game so why dont you just cry about it and play adventurequest

I just play it without the sound on, that way I don't have to listen to the music (I actually play most games muted, come to think of it). While this type of game is not my strong point, nor my favorite style, I can clearly see that this is a game well deserving of 5/5.
Now any hints on unlocking the butterfingers or minimalist guitars?

This is the first game that I simply not prepared to play for badges. The music is derivative pop junk with barely a lick of creativity. The actual game play is little better. Punk? perhaps if you're a 12 y/o who hasn't the brain to appreciate music yet.

Pretty sound all round but the length of some of the songs makes it quite annoying if you miss a note near the end and have to repeat the entire song...
Other than that its nice and I really don't understand people complaining about the difficulty.

this game is sooooooo.... bad...
i dont understand why someone would play this i mean i can pick up GH3 right now and have FUN...
the songs are horrible both musically and gameplay wise. its just a recycling of notes in the chorus/verse for the solo. honestly if i was forced to play this through i would kill myself...
