i like the game! but i agree that scgmd2 is better and the songs are to long, also the asdf takes a long time to get used too!

all you people that are complaining that it is harder IT SAYS TO COME TO TERMS WITH THE FACT THAT SCGMD2 IS HSRDE THAN SCGMD2

The songs were decidedly worse than SCGM2 and I feel like the song had less bearing on what keys I was pressing than before. It is a mediocre sequel at best.

I dont like the 4. buttons.Hard to play.First hard music is very hard for hard ( what a sentence :D ) But i like SCGMD3 ever!

This game is good but I liked the SCGMD2 more. The number keys are just a little bit more akward to used than the "home row" keys. I accept that this'll probably get badges soon, but I don't have to like it.

I love this one as much as #2 but the only wrong thing is that, yes, you said that it's harder but exactly the fact that its harder is gonna scare a bunch of people away and will result in much badder ratings. 4/5

For people complaining about 1234, there is a buttin when playing the song to change to ASDF, try check around some first.. Besides 1234 are good, if not buy a new keyboard because your's seem to suck pretty bad.

like the new interface touches, especially the counters of hits and mistakes -- no more coming 20 points shy of perfect 10 times in a row and not knowing why. the songs are not an improvement: too long, too many lyrics. 5/5

the new selection of music is quite good... but some of them is too long for my liking.... and i really don't like the 1234, it puts my hand is weird position.....
But, still not a bad game, not as good as the second one though XD 4/5

Absolutely amazing. The first game was great, the second was awesome, this one is on a whole new level. 10 new guitars, 14 new songs (Lengthy too, which is good. ^_^), new style (1, 2, 3, and 4 can be used for cords), a hit/miss counter (Which is useful if you're trying to get a perfect), the note hit plays the note (Instead of the song just continuing on, it plays a random note).
This game is amazing. It deserves badges. I have some ideas of what would be neat for badges. (Easy - 5 points) - Get 10 award points on Amateur.
(Medium - 15 points) - Get 6 golds and a perfect on Amateur.
(Hard - 30 points) - Get 2 perfects on Amateur, and 2 perfects on Pro.
(Impossible - 60 points) - Get 56/56 award points.

I can't stand having the arrows and the number/letter overlap. It confuses the screen and annoys me to no end. I much preferred v2's method of putting the holds on the bars in between the arrow tracks. I could actually see what was going on that way!

Awesome game, not sure if i prefer number 2 or not. I quite liked the songs being a shorter length and i feel the quality of songs was better - some of the ones on this version are dreadful. The extra letter/number is proving to be my downfall at the minute as I keep reverting into a SCGMD trance :p

updated version is great, can't say a bad thing about it except for the extremely long songs that make it hard to get perfects. 5/5 + fav

This game is pretty good but i think its actually a bit less good then SCGMD2.
In some songs the beat doesnt go with the arrows.
Still I have no problem with the 4th key added for the challange.

Been waiting it for ages.
I enjoy it.. but the quieting of the sound when you mess up is REALLY off putting.. and after i make one mistake.. many more follow.. and many other mistakes should not arise from 1... Also when its muted and turned up in the space of a second, the arrows jutter around for me. :(.. all in all 3/5.. as ive been awaiting it.. and its good.. but its got some elements that leave desire for.

yes this game was much worse than 2 IMO. first of all, the song are WAY too long. im not going to want to play a song over and over again if i miss up near the end of a 4/5 minute song. Thats not fun, thats obnoxious.
The other thing is it is nearly impossible on the hardest ones. I think the maker went overboard when they made this game...
