If i had to vote the downloaded version, 5/5, no doubt. But the Kong one isn't above 4, since it lags (even with low quality and no effects, 3Gb of free unused RAM and 500kB/s unused internet bandwith). And 1 or 2 lags spike in a song is a really big downside, cause you could be unlucky and ruin a perfect streak for that reason. And I get very upset when that happen. 4/5.

kk not trying to be mean here all of you guys bitching about how hard it is stop and read the front page it clearly states that this one is harder than SCGMD2...otherwise excellent game 5/5

It isn't the music thats bad, just the vocals. If you can block out the singer and focus just on the music, the songs are pretty good. This is especially noticable on "The Fade", which is a good tune, until the singer starts screeching "Rise Aboooove!" while the background singer squeals like a pig.

Er it's okay, I prefered the announcer well announcements in the second one (I mean its the same guy but you know). The songs are weaker and tryting to press 4/F is SO annoying. Overall still a great game 5/5.

I'm afraid I have to say it as well; great game (several improvements over the last version), but the music is ... well, it's bad. Don't get me wrong, I _like_ indie music -- this isn't indie, it's amateur.
Here's hoping the fourth shows further improvements. 4/5 Stars

Honestly I really wanted to like this game, but the quality of the music (not only in bitrate, but in production value) doesn't feel as good as the last one. The new keys took a bit of getting used to, but it's a good system. Overall, just because of the music, 4/5. 5/5 otherwise.

ME my opinion i think 2 is way better. 3 just sucks i mean half the hard songs are easier than the easy ones. i mean they got the keys so mixed up now it makes no sense. all you ppl who have 40 or more or even all of the award points. you ppl really need to get a life. or otherwise you ppl are just scary good at this game? but really idk who can get all of them its kinda creepy to me. sry if i offend any1 i dont mean to. its just my opinion. Bye... cant wait till the 4th one though

Solid game, but i thought it lost a few things from the previous version. I like being able to toggle what keys can be used. I felt the guitar dude animations could have been more "epic" as you progressed. The announcer is much more subtle sounding which i thought was one of the great parts about the old one. Songs go from overly simple to complete to ridculously hard back to easy...there isnt a real feel of easy to hard progression. Still a very solid game 4/5 (last version got 5/5)

DEFINITELY better, one of the best. 50/56 award points with 8/14 perfects. This is the only game I've been playin' lately, when badges come, I think I'll be ready. Awesome game!

by the way, the guitar way of playing really ROCKS! My left hand hurts a little for holding the keyboard-guitar, but it's so much fun!

As said before, SCGMD2 had a much better tracklist. What would be perfect to do is have a game with SCGMD3 features and the songs from SCGMD2
