I know there are still some problems with this game but I've got to say that I love the fact that siread has done so many updates to fix it. I hate when the developer just dumps a game on Kong and then ignores calls for fixing problems. That issue has caused many potential 5 star games to score worse. Now if siread could somehow make this game less addictive. ;)

Short Guide
First of all: Boots are important! Buy them!
1. Don't raise your Star Rating too early! The game gets harder and energy drinks get more expensive
2. Don't spend money on energy drinks early on. Instead focus on Property, it will raise your energy regeneration after each match.
3. At least your first season should look like this:
A. Train a skill (only one, so you still have 65% energy left)
B. Play Match, doing only 1 Heart of work
C. If you've got more than 85% energy start over at A otherwise at B.
4. If you face a difficult shot, rather pass to a teammate, this way it will not count as a missed chance for you and you'll get better ratings
5. If you haven't got a straight line for your shot, but really have to try for a goal, try to make the ball bounce infront of the goalkeeper. Around the middle of the inner penalty box is usually right
6. For some shots and passes you'll have to go over an enemy, and to do that sucessfulle you'll have to use less power (shorter arrow)

Stop having the cost of drinks go up, just leave them where they start at, everytime I start making enough money I can't afford drinks again.

Alternatively, you could have the casino games work like casino games and not just give the computer an enormous advantage with them.

Early game really needs some improvements, either scale down the cost of things, give sponsors sooner, give the earliest contract more money, etc. Or at least let players do 1 thing for free, whether it's work on a relationship or a skill. It's impossible to do that and have energy for games and you don't even make enough in a game to buy an energy drink, much less shoes, lifestyle stuff, etc.

I most of time miss the "need to hit spot" because the ball spins and moves and the ball is partially white and the mouse is all white! please fix that!

the opposing goalie just defended a shoot. but the ball went to the net.

heres 3 tricks no one does. 1] Stay with the club you are in no matter how bad they are, never leave them, if you get top three of your league you will be promoted and your team does get better, in my game i didnt touch any ball and my team won 4-1 twice in a row. Its better for you to stay put anyways since revuilding relationship is a pain. 2] Never buy shoes unless you got 60 skill points on the top three skills, after that, then buy the most expensive boots, then you will see the difference. The bottom two skills are worthless, my freekick skills is at 3 and I take penalties and freekicks everytime cause I score more than once in a game.3] You can improve your lifestyle without having a girlfriend. Its called property. Even if you upgrade your property to the private island, you will not attract any girlfriend. Plus you will have more energy so you can use x3 hearts at games more often. BY the time you unlock Mansion, you would have used x3 hearts throughout the entire game.

I don't think drink prices should stay the same, otherwise once you get a decent contract you will be at full NRG all the time and the game will be too easy. I do think the rate at which the prices increase should be lowered; but only by $1-2

would be nice, that if i have an apartment and then buy a house that i would get some money for renting the apartment to someone else. also i kinda miss crossing in this game. would be nice if that happened from time to time. but still 5/5

This is such a great game (following the feedback in the comments here can help it become even greater). I have thoroughly enjoyed it; if there was an ice hockey version id probably die from joy. 5/5

your team mates really need some awareness of where the outfield opponents are, they shoot straight into the defenders all the time

It would also be great if you can have a player of the year of some kind... i mean if i am scoring 70 goals and making 30 odd assists.. u can earn money with it or something on those lines... wud be nice

why am i not getting new sponsors, i have a really high fan relation, and that's for like 10-20 weeks, and i have a perfect sponsor relation with the 1 sponsor i've had from the very beginning, which gives me just 1 per match, but i'm not getting new offers, how can i get new offers from sponsors?

MAYBE if my teammates wuold actually move before the ball's almost past them, they sould get the ball and we would score. Also way too chance based. 3/5. Please don't downvote this comment just because it's negative. It's constructive criticism taht will help make the game better.

While I understand it's not easy to balance the cost of items compared to salary and bounties, considering I am unable to either train or play effectively without wasting most my money on energy drinks seems a bit silly. Perhaps giving a bit more energy back to allow for one free training session after a game would help. Also, notching the bar so I can see how much energy I need for an activity would be nice. Perhaps adjust the amount of energy certain actions take as well. All in all a fun game though, even if my teammates are morons.

hitting the ball dead center and on the ground chips it? please go learn the basic physics of soccer before making a game on it please. also i got the arcade achievement 2 days ago and have yet to get the badge....

It's fun to see all kind of freak incidents every now or then, like ricocheting ball via pole to the teammate who makes the goal, or while intercepting the opponent kicking the ball randomly off the screen. Overally very enjoyable game.

Perhaps in arcade mode, make it so that you score 3 points when you have 3 lives, two points when you have two lives, and one point when you have one life. You still regain lives for each goal.
