controls were a bit whack. still, i got used to them after a long while. seriously, this game takes serious focus. which is why i love it.

@Zenth You need to go to the main menu and access the Challenges section. You will need all platinum medals.
And incidentally I love the 'blue dragon' (sea slug) you have as your avatar.

A game like this makes me wish this was more of an action/adventure platform then a survival. Or perhaps make it so on Rogue Soul 2?

Thank you for your last response Soulgame. Well, I've achieved all there is to achieve on this game and loved every minute of it. Good luck to everyone else in becoming the most wanted or getting all the loot.
Very impressed to be honest with the attention of the developer to the players.
Enthusiastically awaiting the sequel.

I don't get it... it's a game about collecting coins and you can't even spend them? Too bad, the game has pretty much potential, but it isnt used...

Heh, lots of people making that point. Society is becoming more consciencious at last. I guess this is why the guards are portrayed as evil in the intro.

I just don't understand your characters' logic at the end of the game. "I've stolen so much and killed so many in this city! I must have inspired so much hope in these people!"
People love Borin Hood because he brings a nice chaos in the tyranny... Our little pretentious rogue is jealous so he try to do the same, kicking, stealing, slaying, looting, everything on his way... But finally people notice him because of his courage for opposing guards, so he realize that he actually bring hope, and decide to continue this way.

This developer is trying really hard to please everybody and unfortunately that means that the sequel will be grind based on not skill based (upgrades!).
Oftentimes better isn't most popular.
The extra double jumps meaning that you don't have to carry out the resource
management that you had to carry out until yesterday are another sign of this. Plenty of us got 100% without them but this developer is too affected by whiners.
Hey, don't worry too much about Rogue Soul 2, I've tons of ideas about the progression scheme, and it's not about grinding. I'm pretty sure I will, eventually, succeed to make a game both for casual and hardcore gamers :)

Oh man. Now that you've fixed that walking backwards thing... Now it's not me fighting against the controls, it's me kicking ass as I ninja my way through this world. You've turned a 4 star game into a 5 star game.

I bet you got the idea from assassian creed 1 because of the throwing knife, jumping in haystacks when you jump in the haystacks in makes a sound in assassian creed1.

This is a very good game. I disagree with everyone needing upgrades. Unfortunately Xbox and the like have morphed and perverted gamers skill. Good game man.

Still not sure about this game; you are very adamant about it being a test of skill, but most of the time when I die it's because the controls haven't responded, or the character has got stuck pushing a wall instead of sliding etc

How are people getting over 2k in the treasure hunt path? I can only make about 1.8k Would love to hear strategies =)

The first time I watched the intro to this game, I wondered why they had decided to build such huge walls. Then I played it, and every enemy in the first four areas. That got me a bounty of 4000 coins.
Suddenly, I'm not confused anymore.

Suggestions for Rogue Soul 2: #1: Borin Hood has gotten an even higher bounty, it's up to you to beat it! #2: Yet another thief has claimed a big bounty, show him how it's done. #3: the guards have sent all their forces at you, flee the town and acquire some loot while you're at it. #4: Borin Hood has met you in person, and has challenged you to a race! Get a better bounty than him as you run across the buildings and streets, and each those guards a lesson too! #5:After going to a city to get better pickings, ou find a gang of thieves preying on the citizens. Earn a pretty penny by out-stealing them and maybe, if you feel like it, scare some people and kill the cops.

If you're trying for the hard badges:
1) Slide attacking enemies while running forward will beat most of them to the punch.
2) You only need to run 2,000m total across all your continues. I originally thought it was in one life. Not the case. A good method is to save up a ton of daggers and then throw the crap out of them when you start getting close.
3) For the 85%, you have to get platinum on a couple of challenge modes. They're not really that difficult, and platinum metals (kind of whitish) count for several percent.
