It's really annoying and tedious to do the speed training, if you can can you please make it easier to do, His attacks are extremely fat and alot of the time we gave to guess which button we need to use, and even then it's very hard to do.

From the title screen with the sound effect when you touch the soul game icon, i knew i was going to love that game.
All the ingredients are combined, this is a sword and sandals +++, faster, better, with much more features, excellent work.
Just one thing, the aiming training desserve a more visible cursor, sometimes, i loose one second to find it, it's just enough to loose when there is too much targets.
You should add the game of the goose (from sword and sandals serie), it'd be a legendary game.
still, it's surely a hit, 5 stars, thanks.

I can slice apples in HALF with a STICK! I can hit 2 targets at the same time! I can block millions of apples in one stand without my shield breaking!! AND I... got defeated by a mosquito.. :(
A few general tips are: update flash player, try another browser, be sure not to delete your cookie and check that no software delete cookie in your back (eg: CCleaner)

Idle training: Block and Critical training can be done without you - just leave your fighter in training mode and his Skill will grow slowly - he will block 1/4 of apples and do 1/2 of criticals

This game is awesome! I love the animation when you attack or move and there's so much skills and talents to unlock. This game strongly reminds me of Rayman because the characters don't have arms, legs or necks. All the enemies and bosses are all unique and different, this is definitely my favourite game on kongregate. 999/10

would be nice to start off at last medal in survival mode. like wave 5 10 15 20 when u have cleared it ofcourse. also an adventure mode where u can get special things would be awesome. amulets rings helmets and such?:)

I like this game so much that now I Love it! I love the game so much that now I love you! Due to loving you, My girlfriend thinks i have gone mentally insane because I constantly kiss the computer for winning. I don't have a girlfriend thanks to me praying to the game ever night. I lost my job after I kept playing it during work hours. My parents are considering de-owning me for loving the game so much. This game ruined my life.... 100/10

I love how this fits into the little Soul universe you build, and yet stands apart as a great game by itself. Love it!

Small complaint, why does Accuracy level up so fast, but everything else, levels up like a freaking snail on salt blocks?

man this game is so detailed. i could gush on and on about how in-depth the upgrade system and combat is, but what i'm really impressed by are the weapons.
if this was any other arena game, your character would only get one type of weapon - let's say a sword, and re-use the attack animation. but you threw in all sorts of weapons, and made the animations to suit them - double ended spears are spun before striking, you thrust with spears and chop with axes. bombs being thrown explode, and there's a whole separate animation for bows & arrows etc
small details like that are very cool

This game is just absolutely amazing, the combat is smooth and unique, the art style is, well very indie and i love it. The stat system is amazing and the training is fun (except for the overly tedious accuracy stat training). fighting in the arena and dominating feels so rewarding and the combat has actual depth to it, its not a "press one button to win" game, and i love that. I have suggestions for maybe a Swords and Souls 2 or maybe a massive update. for example: i think battling other people would be fun and seeing the ways people use their items and skills to fight. I also think the ability to use combat items like bombs that deal massive damage or being able to set a trap that damages every enemy you fight. other than that, this game gets 95/100, and a nice shiny platinum medal. The game is amazing in every way!

What I love about this game (besides everything) is that if you excel at a certain training minigame, your character excels at that trait in combat. It makes me feel connected to my little Soul.

For anyone having trouble getting a decent combo on the Critical Hit training, just watch the bottom of the scarecrow's stick. You can even (like I did) put a post-it note on the screen to cover it all up. Only strike when you see the stick rise off the floor. For me, at least, it was much easier than trying to watch the head or the symbols.
