Something quite nice that I noticed: one may consider this cheating, but if you leave the critical chance minigame on, it will play itself to an extent, allowing you to leave it on in the background as you do other things. I fell asleep having forgotten to close the game, and woke up with about 5000 additional critical stat added as well as a metric ton of XP. It's certainly not necessary to do this, but it's very cool if you don't feel dirty over it (I do not).

I came to try the game expecting a "Swords & Sandals" clone. What I discovered once I started the game is a masterpiece of a f2p game.
Character development: check!
Nice and funny graphics: check!
Simple, straightforward and clean battle engine: check!
Challenging, but still easy without extreme grinding progress: check! double check!
Helpful Idle element (museum loot): C-C-C-check!
NOT a lagging after 10 min flash game: CHECK! CHECK! CHECK!
Huge amount of money, value for stats, etc; for those who like to see enormous numbers: check!
Not wasting time and money making a single player, flash game "unhackable": check :P
(See some of the highscores, they are ridiculous)
In summary: EXCELENT GAME! Keep up the wonderful job!!
I'm already waiting for the Swords and Souls 2 !!!

First off, I'd like to say this is a fantastic game. Definitely outshines most games on Kongregate nowadays. The only issue I had with any of the game was that it never really explained what ranged attacks were (I'm pretty sure that they are just an extra attack that sometimes gets thrown in there and that's what the ranged chance% was for). Other than that though, amazing game! Great tutorial that was a perfect combination of short and informative, the minigames were beautifully adaptive to how well you were doing, and the sidekick gets a 10/5. Sir Scarecrow was the best! I also like that slight search and find aspect with the hidden kids where if you want to look for them, you can, but you don't have to. The combat system is great without being too much to keep track of. Honestly one of the best games I've seen in awhile and one of my new favorites. Please keep up the good work and know that lots of Kongregators like myself are rooting you on to keep making awesome games!

This game is just perfect, I would even buy it if I have to. Minigames are so much fun and total gameplay is like for 3 hours. Hope I will see anything else from you guys asap! :)

Honestly a phenomenal game. There are a handful of ways to make it "better," but a lot of it comes down to personal preference.
The archery/accuracy training minigame was probably the best part for me, haha. If you made that into a full game with competitive multiplayer, I'd play the hell out of it. ;)

Fantastic! I've been putting this one off, as I am not normally an arena combat guy, but eventually the sky-high rating got me curious and man, has it payed off. Lots of fun to be had here despite the simplicity of the mechanics. I *highly* appreciate that gold is earned passively; it is nice not to have to play for hours at a time at some repetitive task to make money. 5/5 indeed, and deserving of its rating.
