Honestly really boring at later levels. On wave 19, and it's just such a boring and difficult grind. I have no idea how this was ever ranked up to a 4.6 overall score. It has a lot of cool options if you want to grind forever, but then it's only about 1/5 battle strategy, 3/5ths grind, and 1/5th luck (blocks, crits, dodges, ranged). What I do like, my #1 takeaway: Poisonous Dynamite. +1 there. 3.0 for effort and smoothness and dev interaction. Hope to see a less grindy, more battle strategy heavy game from you.
1/5 strategy, 3/5 grind, 1/5 luck, that's actually a pretty accurate formula! Congrats. Well, I'm gonna raise the strategic part in the sequel for sure, but it's still gonna be a game about training to be better. Aka grinding.

Am I not supposed to be able to see the Ragnarok spell until a certain level or something? (After having done the current Kong. Challenge.)

Technical issues with the challenge have been fixed, and everything should be working properly now. Apologies for the inconvenience, but you can now complete the third mission in Spellstone to unlock the Ragnarok spell here in Swords and Souls!

Swords and Souls... a basic summary:
You are a chocolate man, with a chocolate wife, and you are a warrior. With only your sword and trusty yet somewhat terrifying scarecrow buddy, you conquer with world with various weapons. Swords, bows... and even a rubber duck.
For the first five minutes of the game, you will be killed mercilessly by a MOSQUITO. Then you end up getting apples thrown at you, by your own scarecrow buddy. If you're not scarred by now, you should probably leave while your soul is still free.
TL;DR: fun game 10/10

Very nice little game. Balance issues near end levels though. Despite having 25% chances in block, perform ranged and dodge, they almost never occur. The clovers to feed the museum mushroom for bonuses frequently give nothing at all, seemingly more frequently as the game progresses, and around arena level 20 it turns into one massive grind. At current I can take only 3 hits before being defeated, the only way to increase health it via armor, best arena level I can manage grants about 1.3B, museum income is 9.1B, and the next armor upgrade costs 266.83G - that's pretty ridiculous. I obtained the easy and medium badges for this in Nov '15, its now May '16 and with a bit of grinding every few days I have only progressed 4 arena levels. please scale up late game rewards or scale back late game prices. still 4/5 from me though.

An amazing game, when your internet goes, the game is still running. Saving Cache data, without servers detecting internet. Smooth training, No end game! Battle Mobs to battling Gods!

Ok. First off, overall great game. However, the way you use the axe.... It doesn't work. you don't use the stick part, you use the blade.

Awesome game! As a person who's obsessed with bladed weaponry, I love the weapon designs in the game. Each one has a unique flavor to them.

Fun game, but the leveling system actually doesn't work for me. It's not a level system. It's a pretend to level system. Right? Every arena I need to grind till I can kill most enemies in 2 hits. Rinse repeat. : / (Level 43 before commenting)

I love the game sooooo much. I even gave it a 5-star rating. Just one question: Is there a second one? I would love to play that if there is. If you could, send me a link(if it exists). If it doesn't exist and its a WIP please tell me how close to done it is. I would like that a lot. Thank you.

I know this may not be the best place to bring it up, but SoulGame seems to respond fairly often. My save game has disappeared. Any tips to fix this?
