This a great game, thanks SpaceCat. I think the Skirmish mode is much too easy, though - even on Hard both levels can be beaten first time just using palisade and tier 3 infantry. Endless mode is much better, though - a real challenge!
Also perhaps add an option to send the next wave of enemies while still fighting the latest one? That way there isn't so much faffing when defences are strong. Still, great game!

wouldnt it be cool if the enemys had cannons and you could put troops down on the ground aswell as on walls and you could order your troops to got to this part of the wall or smothing like that.

hrrrrrr... you can jump strait to the repeating cannon without getting the others... AND it owns everything. at 500 a pop, its cheaper than the other high lv cannon. did i mention that it shreds everything?

@Ghurkal, I believe this was intentional. While stronger cannons claim to be more powerful, in fact the only thing that changes with a better cannon is rate of fire. the Grand Cannon fires about twice as fast as the first cannon (the Culverin i think)

Not a bad idea, but the gameplay is awful. The learning curve is ridiculous and it takes eons to upgrade anything decent.

Anyone notice how ridiculously easy it is with Britain? After a bit of upgrading on the easy maps I beat every medium and hard level flawlessly with them. Not a single hit to my fortress or a single lost unit each time.

Did anyone else notice that the cost reduction on the garde unit doesn't actually lower the cost? It says 72 but still costs 95 per unit.

Can you make it possible to see all the firing arcs at the same time, and can you allow cannon to rotate in segments shorter than 90 degrees?

All maps can be handled with 6 T3 Inf + 3 Cannons per "inlet" as it is now - without even upgrading the buildings.

Bigger cannons should equal bigger cannonballs to take out more guys in each shot. There should also be exploding cannonballs.

major glitch when your walls can repair faster than they can kill them and u dont have a defender in range to kill them.........stale mate

There's a few glitches with the french. One is when you unlock Earthworks, it doesn't show it unlocked unless you click a different tab and then go back to the buildings tab. The other glitch is that the bonuses from medals for the Francais Guarde don't seem to work. The cost per unit says 72 but it is costing me 95.

The level Les Champs De Gloire always glitches out and freezes every time I play it. Don't know if others have experienced but it is a big bug in the game for me.

For the people that keep complaining about the toggle spped button just hold and then right click whilst your still holding. it blocks a bit of the screen but it works. :)

Good but not altogether great. There is huge scope for this to become a truly great game. However there siply isn't enough depth, cannon reloading times is not enough to separate 3 different units range, firepower maybe even area of rotation or splash damage. More diversity, brilliant concept but dissapointing execution 3/5

Issues: The Brits are overpowered, the Persians are awful because of the range of the cantonists vs. the range of the grenadiers. Yes, the repath command & pickle gun makes it possible to win as the Persians, but the issue is that using them is difficult because everyone has a rifleman who's outside the range of your best gunners.
