some bug reports... 1. In the level with the Bridge the engineers get stuck at some point and dont attack the barricades/walls, in the same level i suddenly had a error that everything froze

I really like this game. The twist on tower defence is very interesting and I think you should patent it before a bunch of devs steal it. J/K but :) anyway.
That said I noticed 2 bugs
The game sometimes crashes for me during gameplay when I click on my units. Their ranges pop up and dont go away. This will happen to all my units I drag my mouse over and the game will freeze.
The second isnt so much a bug but the upgrading system needs a rewrite. Lets say I want to upgrade from Militia to Greenjackets. If I disband the milita I get a 32 refund and then pay for the greenjacket at 85. The cost is 52. On the other hand upgrading requires an upgrade cost of 40 then an upgrade cost of 53. Total cost is 93 which is over the cost of disbanding with no refund and putting in a greenjacket.

The Grenadiers are Kinda horrible, there Range is too low and they are only capable of killing engineers, because they get basicly sniped out of range from them..

Awesome game, i love how you can build the walls and stuff almost anywhere, most TD games have a path and you have to build around that but this one there isnt on. Awesome

Once you get the hang of it with the British, it really becomes very dull very quickly. I also think the enemy AI needs tweaking, since they attack the first thing they come across, which makes it very frustrating if you try to be at all inventive with your defences, and rewards you for building the obvious fortress.

If you press the Restart button, you lose your bonus of initial money. For example, i'm starting with 4k now. When i restart the game, i only start with 2k. So i have to go back to the menu and get in the same stage again, so i can start with my 4k.

oh ya, u should also be able to choose a strategy, like to shoot volleys, or to hold fire until the enemy gets close, like undinechan said

For the Prussian achievements, what counts as a one-hit kill? I hope it's not the ability Grenadiers get. I mean, build 1,000 Grenadiers, *then* get 1,000 one-hit kills with them? That would be silly. Ps, great game!

it froze on last level, it completely glitched up n i hit calendar. it worked for a few seconds then theyve all frozen again. not cool

i was doing the prussians got to 20/20 and then the french just stopped on top of my spike traps. they just stood there. i had to restart

Got to level 50 on unlimited mode then gave up because the gunshots were so laggy and ughhh
Anyway if anyone cares i did it playing as english and using ridiculous amounts of puckle guns.

Thre needs to be a 'rebuild all' and 're-recruit all' option, so you don't have to rebuild all of your walls and hire all of your men again when they are destroyed/killed. + if you agree!

Maybe already been mentioned. Grand cannon (Massive, Long range cannon), Demi cannon (Large, Medium range cannon) but both have same range. Should'nt they have different range?

when enemy gets in range: use a autoclicker on the calender to make them redifine their paths. if you set it fast enough... they will not move.

Awesome game, but it needs a little more story. A led progression from one battle to the next instead of just a menu listing all the battles.

there should be a statistic screen, where you can check e.g. how many one-hit kills you scored or how many grenadiers you hired so far
and maybe higher difficult - its easy to stop any attacking wave with 20-30 greenjackets and without cannons

I'm bored now. I've played for an hour and it's just not that engaging. Nice concept and attempt, but it needs something more interactive and quicker to keep gamers interested. Having only a small selection of soldiers/cannons is dull, because they're all playable in level 1 and after that the levels are pretty much all identical. The gameplay is slow and uninspiring. You need to introduce enemy with a better AI so that they attack your weaknesses, avoid your fortified locations, use their skills better, make more use of differentiated firing range to avoid being shot and place themselves better. It's pointless for the enemy to just run directly at a fortification that has 12 soldiers, 3 puckle guns and 3 cannons. Perhaps you could add a cavalry element, bridge building, mobile enemy cannons to punch holes in your defences before they attack.

the tutorial is way too long the games not worth reading it and i tried to play without the tutorial and it was just really stupid... my advice, next time dont make the tutorial longer than the game itsself!

I was just about to complete a level, and all of a sudden it stops at the end of a wave, says that there are still enemies alive, and when I mouse over anything, its health and range shows up and does not disappear even when I move my mouse.

Great game relatively creative i would 0f given 5/5 but the sniper guys, guys being stuck, and the occasional time where things stop shooting makes it a 4/5 some polish and it would be great

The game is far too easy. There needs to be some element of challenge in the gameplay. I found myself setting up the same formations and then simply clicking 'repair walls' and then 'begin the assault' without much concern that i'd lose. The traps element is a waste of time and money. Perhaps you could make the enemy more substantial, i.e. allow them to have cannons, allow engineers to build bridges across streams or cut through forests to get around your formations.

I was playing endless and I had a nice fortress set up with Puckle and Greencoats, then all of a sudden the guns stopped shooting... like no one was actually shooting
I guess i have too many people :P
