Actually, as it turns out, by the time you make it to wave thirty in endless mode the game is lagging so much Flash is likely to freeze. I've never made it past wave thirty-two due to freezing.

haha, my game glitched during endless mode. All my forces and most of the enemy froze except the engineers and they plow though and destroy my base without a fight =o

An okay game - a little repetitive. And very, very buggy, although usually in ways that benefit the player rather than hurt the player. I wish I could click-drag to place towers and possibly also units, as the setup part of this game gets tedious, and an "upgrade all" for your infantry would be cool. Yeah, a click-on-click-off speed toggle would be nice, too. (Why make us hold the button? If we have to hold a button, couldn't we just turn on caps-lock or something?) An in-level timer would help with the timed achievements (does speeding up make the timer run faster or not? does it include set-up time or just attack time?). Alternatively, you could make a stats page that would include "fastest medium level time," "fastest easy level time," etc., which would at least give a reference point. Also, traps seem pretty superfluous. I haven't used them the whole game and haven't missed them.

It's a decent game, but it's still buggy. Several times I've had the game freeze on me when I was trying endless mode, once on wave 28 and once on wave 34. I tried hitting the path reset button but it didn't do anything. The whole thing is rather frustrating to be trying to set a new high score and just have the game freeze.

So darn easy! All you do is just get greenjackets, then unlock the half price thing for them, and you will almost always win! Avoid cannons and traps, and it's great!!! :D

Lets just say load up on green jackets till you get the "unlock cost half" achevment. And it is dead easy. Avoid cannons and traps, and it will all go well for you :D

I cant help but feel that maybe the game was too easy. I stuck with the starter walls, never touched cannons and traps, and just made as many Green Jackets as I could (I was British) in a spiral pattern outward from the blockhouse. Just doing that I got "A Father to his Men," and once I got all the British-only achievements (which all help Green Jackets) I don't think I ever lost a man.

If you put a palisade or barricade off the path the enemy follows, some units will go out of their way to go destroy it, which can be very helpful at times

Why tell achievements are coming soon and leave me waiting a week with nothing? Should have just said coming some time in the possibly distant future so I at least know not to get my hopes up for a while.

there should be like a "Realistic Mode" where you cant choose when the enemy attacks, theres like a timer counting from 20 or somthing then the enemys come. Cuz in real life you cant choose when the enemy attacks.

This game is getting a bit of a kicking in the comments. A shame, as the concept and design is excellent. I don't know if SpaceCatStudios are professionals or just some amateurs in their bedrooms. If the former is the case you really need to examine your testing procedures very hard. As an IT professional I'd be ashamed to let such a bug filled product leave my desk. A real shame to let down such a great game. I've rated this 4 stars but I'd like to give 5/5 for design, art and concept; 0/5 for execution.

BUG: If my wall is less than 3 squares away from the edge, the enemies literally walk right through them. (3 empty squares between the gold unbuildable area and the wall.)

I like how the achievements have a point on getting them instead of just being there. I think you started something new. I dont know of any other games that do that. i was going to give this game a 4/5 for the game, but then i saw that... 5/5

@AtomicKitKat: if you spam the calender button then they go up and down and up you just have to not press it and he will go forward. if that doesn't work then press it once more.

5/5 but it gets stuck so often. The enemy wont advance and my units are not firing upon them due to range. You need to fix this bug.

found a bug... wave 20+ something playing Red Dawn Brittons VS French. Mid-run, the enemy HP markers stopped moving and bullets stopped flying. The enemy sappers kept working and all that jazz though, couldn't stop them. I told it to restart the level and it wiped everything off and kept me at the wave. Weird isn't it?

on the easy bridge level if you but a tier 3 bastion 7 squares squares away from both corners you get a bad guy stuck glitch that i cant fix.

For Calendar complaints: If you have an engineer and all he does is face up, face down, face up, face down, regardless of calendar spam, you can try double-clicking him after a few times, and he will eventually drop dead. I think that's like the final fail-safe. Keep this comment topped if you want. Worked for me.

There's a load of bugs, tremendous balance issues, and it's easy. As the British I beat the entire game without losing one unit. The British range makes them inestimably superior to every other faction. The pathetic "range" of the Prussians make them absolutely useless in every way. The French are decent at best.
Further, cannon are both useless and unnecessary. For the cost of a good cannon, I get a dozen infantry. A cannon kills perhaps ten men, on a good round. A dozen infantry kill nearer to fifty. Cannons need to be able to be aimed and fired by the commander. Otherwise they serve no purpose at all.
Finally, achievement benefits should be able to be turned off. I cannot repair a thousand buildings, because the slow repair I get during combat from repairing six hundred buildings is enough to keep my walls continuously at one hundred percent. Palisades, too-I'm not even using advanced walls.
And given my strategy is "surround my castle with infantry" I should be failing.

actually my walkthru that works rather well especially for the french is to get the final cannon unlocked and build a palisade/bastion all the way across put a row of cannons and then just let it fire away thru the rounds.... occasionally adding more rows when needed

There is one more engineer left, I clicked the calender next to the wave number " In addition to that, I’ve added a “Fail Safe” button. If the game bugs out, or you have one troop hitting you out of range, or enemies stuck, click the CALENDAR beside the WAVE COUNTER. That button will cause the enemies to all find a new path, and should fix those errors if they occur during your game!" and he wouldn't move. You need to make the engineers not try and demolish everything in their path because it glitched on me.

Once you get enough achievements, this game becomes way too easy. Perhaps you could add a hardcore mode or something?
