I figured out how to upgrade unit. You need to unlock the next level and then click each unit to upgrade (plus this to keep it alive!)

Great game! Here are two glitches I have seen: 1) tooltip showing repair costs disappears after several rounds 2)garde francais cost is not decreased with achievements unlocked

I agree that if a second one were to be made, more armies would be badass, along with more different types of attackers. Now I completely disagree with BartJ385: Hello dumbass! It's a TD style game, and offering smaller area to build would make traps USELESS. Think before you comment.

To get through engineers, place barricades at the end of, or near a line of troops. All the engineers go to the barricades, and since they're near your troops, while they attack the barricades, the troops take them all down...

This game has a lot of potential once the basic flaws are fixed. The area where you can build should be smaller, and the maps should offer the attackers places to take cover - that would give the traps a purpose.

the next game should have a map editor and maybe more things, like Spaniards. Even levels where there is water and ships come and land, so you can destroy the ship and everyone in it before it lands.

How about stop complaining about the maths logistics? Ever think that 5 isn't dividable and as long as it counts as a unit it never will be. Check the price for how much you pay to unlock the unit? Duh.

crashed with two waves to go - enemies stopped moving, and everywhere you moved the mouse, it lights up with green circles that never disappear. FIX THE DAMN BUGS!

By the way, if you're complaining about the cannon hitting one or two peeps, place them farther back. Simple, really.

The math is off as well... the screen says 85 to build a garde and when I do it charges me over 100... dunno the exact #. It's as if it doesn't recognize that I have unlocked the lower price. Does this in several areas. It will say I don't have enough money to build one last garde when I do have enough. Fix the math coding please ! lol

I completed the achievement: Royal Bodyguard, and i still have to pay 95 for the Garde. Its says 85, but i still pay 95... Anyone other this happens to?

All the cannons seem to have the same near uselessness except for the begginer cannons... Which are cheaper and always better. Better refire... equal range to everything... WTH were they thinking?

I like the game, but there's a bug that really annoyed me: sometimes the last or last two enemy troops are in an angel were my troops can't kill them and when you have at least the curtain walls they do no damage to the walls. So the current wave doesn't end.

some bugs with cannons, though; sometimes they dont shoot right after they "see" an enemy. Also, I havent played as the french yet, but Ive already got Kings Artillery and Balls of Steel achievements...

I don't know if I agree that there needs to be a toggle speed button. In my opinion, the speed should just be default as the faster speed. There is no advantage whatsoever to the slow speed (unlike DTD etc where you can build/sell during the attack) and I would bet that all who play this game hold down the >> button.

Nice game, but too easy...
Just build two lines of soldiers, upgrade them when you can, and build puckle guns, they rule everything :-) You will easily win all the maps

nice game, a little buggy but not bad. finished all the levels. made it to 31 in endless mode where the graphics promptly froze from destruction overload. suggestions: toggle for speed / sandbox mode / minor bug fix: on occasions, some items don't show up as purchased unless you click the tab to the left.

This is one of the best defence games I've ever played, I love spamming puckleguns, 6-9 at each door. I really hope you make another game with this style, or at least update this one with more features. Oh and 5/5 (=

balance is nonexistent - greenjackets own. have stopped building at around wave 5, am at wave 29, have yet to take ANY damage on the last medium level (even the walls are untouched). recommendations: reduce income rate, decrease upgraded unit effectiveness, and reduce usable space, so that cheap units become at least somewhat useful and upgrading is a function of saving space rather than becoming more overkill than you already are. also slightly increase enemy HP or decrease unit damage, since slow cannons are entirely useless now even with insta-kill effect - 4 greenjackets cost 500 gold TOTAL to build (including palisades) and their killing power, range, and angle of damage is much higher than that of the grand cannon...

The game is fun but the frequency of glitches that make you have to quit and restart a level make it frustrating to the point where I won't continue playing past getting the badges.

Please rate this comment up: If you get an upgrade and it doesn't unlock, don't click it again. Just switch to a different option tab and then back again (for example, from Garrison to Buildings then back to Garrison). It's worked every time for me.

Bug: Unlocking Garde (France) still costs 1800 even after getting the "1000 gardes deployed" achievement, which is supposed to cut the cost in half. Same with deploying: after getting up to the "500 gardes deployed" achievement it should only cost 72, but it still costs 95.

I've pressed unlock earthworks TWICE now and it still hasn't unlocked in two separate games. Any one else having this problem?

Very buggy. Seems to "lock up" a lot on the very last level of a stage. And clicking on the calendar as suggested does not always fix it. But a great game!

BUG: Captain of the Guard (halves the cost of unlocking Gardes for the French) is not working. The price is listed as 900, but it still makes you pay 1800.
