MY commanding officer loads my musket i look up i see 5000 plus persions and im a britian soldier i say out loud we can take em i see the other five guys on the paliade leave im like well i can take em. my command officer says were reatreting you can stay and fight with me or leave. The fourhundered and nintynine unites run and its just me and my commanding officer the look on the persions faces when they see us was like this (0)_(0) i here there genrel say i must be a supersoldier gunfire rings the air as they shoot there muskets at me i fire its a hit i cant belive my eyes i hit there general in the head they look at me and say i am a supersoilder and the look on there face now is X_X And they run away.Me thinking holycow i dont even now how to load my musket properly...LOL

This game is great! 5/5 BUT the only thing i can think of that would make this game better (like up to a 7/5) would be a map editor because then you could make maps like the user created content on some games. If this game had a map editor then on it you could choose where the blockhouse is, the terrain is, boundaries and mabe - JUST mabe some ready-prepared units on the map for your defence.

Yes Ghurkal all the cannons have the same range and instant kill, but the higher tiered cannons have slightly better fire rate. I tested this by building one of each cannon side by side. getting that second or third shot does sometimes make the difference in defeat or win.

I love how I have the "double starting gold" perk from the achieves unlocked, yet I only get 2000-3000 gold no matter what.

A triple row of Greenjackets around your base and they cant even touch your wall. Dont even need to upgrade walls, or build cannons or build traps or barricades, lol

maybe the next installment could have customizable maps? and since it's based on colonial times, maybe some ships and stuff too, and some cavalry and artillery for the attackers

Good game and a great concept but it seems a bit laggy and on the hammerhead level if you build to right on the advancing line the enemies walk straight through your wall.

Where there are just two enemies left, both outside of your line of fire - the game has to have them run out of ammo eventually. Either that or let me rush them. An infinite stalemate for two guys with infinite ammo is not much of a game. Otherwise - I like it.

Epic game, 5/5 for sure. Love the combination of traps, garrisons, and structures, and the time setting itself makes it a more unique tower defense game than the rest.

Is it me or many upgrades are not applied ??? When I winned the 1st achievements for the French guards (cost less) the displayed price was reduced (95->85) but when I bought it costed me the old one (95).
P.S. : And the yellow selector is not any more displayed when I select the icon.

They really should make an expansion pack or sequel to this, maybe about the American Revolution! That would be awesome, as well as a real campaign with a story and characters!

Do traps count as "units" for A Father To His Men"? Since the point of them is to blow up or distract engineers, and they're not repairable objects, that seems... weird. (Yes, I just won a campaign without losing so much as a barricade.)

If there's a way to change which direction a new bastion/cannon is pointing, please document it better. In fields with more than one entry point, it's often mis-guessing (sometimes badly - right now it's stuck on giving me the up arrow in ALL locations, even the lower right quadrant of the screen) and I can't reorient it.

ive seemed to notecied that sum of the enemys shoot randomly but dont aim when i wrote this two ppl were stood outta my range n were blowin up walls from half way acroos the map ( press plus plz )
