The little glitches are really getting irritating. One little french infantry guy on the first level somehow managed to shoot at one corner of my defenses and keep shooting from the same spot all the way down the line...about three times the range of my guys. I could only sit there and watch it happen without being able to stop it. LAME. Now, I'm in the middle of my second campaign and one of the engineers seems to be stuck behind a barricade doing a little dance to taunt me. The level won't progress and I'm going to have to start over. The little Frenchie is farting in my gen-er-aul die-rexion!

Decent fun, but FAR too bug-packed to be a released game. I've had to quit two levels now due to level failure. The first involved units getting stuck on caltrops and being unable to move closer to my fort, even with the calendar button "fix." The other involved a total lockup, with units suddenly vanishing and reappearing, and not a single one of my shots could hit them. 2/5 until this can even be called a finished game.

As other comments mention, a lot of unit descriptions don't match up with that they do - for instance all the cannons seem to do exactly the same thing.

Great game in terms of gameplay, but could use some polish to make it more friendly for the user. It lacks little details like being able to toggle the speed, a clear and readable font, bigger everything so you can play without squinting, and being able to click and drag to make a bunch of the same building.

How to get a card, + if it helps: Start by building at the back of a chokepoint, not at the front like the tutorial suggests. Use barricades to funnel all the enemies through the 2 center squares, and keep pressing the calender button on the top right next to the wave number to keep the enemy moving forward into you. You only need five cannons, level 2 walls, level 2 infantry, and you should keep cost down enough to get 6 badges. Do this against 2 nations, and lay 50 traps somewhere along the way, and that's 10 achievements. It's a fun game, once you learn how to play it.

Just build a small line of infantry or barricades and build puckle guns a bit further back. Mows down everything provided you keep building them.

Honestly? I can't do anything. I can't place things, I can't begin the assault, I can't even go to the main menu. 1/5 from me until some wider compatibility is introduced.

Totally glitched on me vs. the British on the bottom left Easy map. Two redcoats positioned themselves near a corner of the bridge and never moved. THey kept missing after destroying half my gear.

It may be jsut me, but I think Easy is rather hard. Anyone else agree? Also, bunch of glitches in the game, as said by other commentors. Im not going for the card just for this...

I found the Puckle Gun useful. Build yourself one in the beginning (it is possible), then put a line of infantry in front of it. Expand to the left and the right with a couple more Puckle Guns and infantry in front of that. I try to arrange it so I have 4 of them, they will literally mow down lines of approaching infantry. Of course, I haven't tested this strategy at the higher levels :-/

The achievements page needs to have more differentiation between earned and yet to be earned achievements. Maybe an asterisk next to ones you have for those of us who have trouble seeing the difference between black and dark grey...

BUT... is it a bug, that some dudes, can shoot all the way across the map, and don't move close enough for any of my units can hit em... been stuck on one wave for 30 min... first time it happend, and 3 time i play that map...

This one just doesn't do it for me. I don't particularly enjoy the amount of sheer waiting that must be done, as well the uninteresting choices for infantry. Also, there is a glitch where certain enemies get stuck by traps out of range from your guys, making me have to restart the entire level on the VERY LAST enemy of the VERY LAST wave.
Sorry, but this only gets 2/5 from me.

1st: under certain circumstances, enemies will simply walk right over your barricades.
2nd: after the first few rounds of each level, the cost of repairing doesn't show up on your tooltip anymore.
3rd: the Puckle gun is overpowered and/or underpriced.
4th: you sometimes get achievements you haven't earned for no reason (in my case, the French cannon achievements).
5th: only the first few rounds of each level are hard. Once you get a decent fort built up, the last half of the level is no challenge at all.
Lastly: all that said, this is a game concept that needed to be explored and I hope to see this game improved, expanded, or followed up in the future.

Great game! I really enjoy the strategy and just the fact its a war game, I haven't seen many games like these that are any good. And considering I hate tower defense but like this game, I have to say, You did a good job!
I give it a 5/5 cause the games fun, not annoying, and easy to understand.

Guh, looks like I'm not getting second O set after all. Not only is this game the most boringly slow defense game I've ever played, it doesn't even work; as I type this every unit on the field just randomly vanished and the game is frozen. Definitely not worth the half hour it would take to start the level over, 1/5

I don't get the complaints about this card taking too long...I got about half the achievements on the first easy mode map, and the other half on the second.
Play as the English the first time, then French the next (and choose the opposite one as your opponent). Right there, you get at least 4 achievements just for winning. Since you'll get such a low amount of money on that first map, you'll probably get one or two logistical awards. On the second map, you'll earn enough to get the award for salvaging 12k gold.
