once you find a good strategy,use it.generally you should get at least 6 gold per second if you want to beat some of the last maps like the archer-swordsman/spearton combos and last 2.for those remember to attack when you have a few archers,they are VERY useful in combination with speartons,but swordsman will usually do.the giants are a bit annoying,but a single player controlled swordsman will dominate one if you can use it correctly.Run behind it,attack,and attack again.this will get its attention and it will turn around to attack you.quickly run behind it and attack while its still attacking where you used to be.only attack twice for the first attack,or else it will kill the swordsman.for the last ones you are on your own.just use your normal strategies,but make sure the units involved are upgraded well.

My favourite strategy is tons of spears, attacking statue right away. If you time it right, you can win any fight really quickly.

the slow-mo effect due to lag actually really makes it nicer, while im controlling a swordsman or whatever and theyre running along with an army behind them :)

Needs badges like for killing 20 units as one spearton (THIS IS SPARTA!)
or beating up a monument with only with the archers, (who needs a sword?)
great game + for badges in this game, wish it had a replay button so you could get all upgrades. but its a great game and haters are just people with to type of strategy.
