You can solo a Giant if you if you get behind it and attack, then quickly run the the opposite side its facing and attack again without getting hit.

I like the game, as it allows you to get stuck in with destroying other nations (like Brutal Legend) but when you fight Magikill, the only strategy that appears to work is Zergrush with swordsmen.
