I believe Mission in Space is a solid game, with a cool X-Com feel to it. The gameplay and specific actions for each character are great. The one thing I'd improve would be the ui, with something that goes more with the feeling of the game. A bit more consistent and sharp. Congratulations.

I've gotta say, I've been a member of Kongregate for about 3 years, and this is definitely in my top 5 of all games I've seen here! Clever gameplay, smooth controls, infinite replayability. Plus, I'm a sucker for strategy games. Fantastic job!

This is a fantastic game. I love turn-based tactics games anyway, but you've done a great job by combining that genre with RPG skill trees. I hope to see more games in the future, possibly with a more immersive storyline and more varied objectives.
(Also, I love the different weapons and their effects - flamethrower/shotgun - very nice touch.

Man, no matter how much I love this game, I just can't play it for long without break. Maybe it's just too intense, my feeble mind can't endure so much. Or maybe it's because I'm at work and my boss likes to drop in. Who know?

First game of your team? This game is ultimate, especially the map setting (making the battle more movie-like) and the storyline! I love the music too! Hope you guys will produce more great stuff and be successful!! (5/5)

Level 6 is the antithesis of every tbs game ever. The "split your team in two so your medic can't effectively do his job level." Be prepared.

One major flaw in this game: I can't tell where the holes in the walls are half the time. this is particularly annoying when the hole isn't even facing you and you can't see it because of the lay out of the map. they need to be highlighted, or stand out more thn tey already do. i had one mission nearly completed when suddenly two aliens popped out of a hole i had no idea existed and killed beckett, who has no hp as is.

"When an alien is on an adjacent tile, you have a 15% accuracy malus".....A 15% accuracy what? A better word could be used here. Probably no one knows what that means without looking it up, though it's fairly easy to tell by context.

I lost interest in this game when aliens started spawning outside of the maps boundaries and killing my guys while standing in the walls.

Love the game. Suggestions: 1) Master of Magnetism should allow troops to be unaffected by the bomb, right now 3 spaces is less useful then two. 2) Close combat penalty should start at 2 spaces away and be -40% when adjacent. Close combat talents should be increased to compensate. 3) Add extra fast aliens, but weak and extra tough but slow aliens. 4) Nightmare mode: Troopers have -1MP, -2AP, -20% accuracy, and -1 ammo clip. Aliens have +1MP. 5) I hope to see a sequel soon. :D

although i love turn based strategy, was never a fan of this one.
i had about 200 exp already, but i just did the first mission until i got my 500 exp.
35 exp for 2 turns, not too bad.

I absolutely love the ability to just reset all of your abilities at once. I really, really do.
More games need this, as it allows you to change your entire mission strategy.

what does "hard mode victory" for a ruby medal mean? how do I configure difficulty levels? (finished level 2 in 5 turns taking 0 damage, still only getting a gold)

This is a great game and the icon does it a disservice. I skipped over this title several times in preference of other games because the icon made it look dinky. Once I read the comments here and played the game for myself my opinion did a complete 180. If you can, I encourage you to change the icon.

This game is pretty good, but it got me thinking, I wonder if anybody's ever combined a game like this and Rebuild, making for a kind of commander/manager kind of system? I love the mechanics and I would't change a thing, but I think it'd be nice to also choose to take a bit of a backseat from the action. For instance, how do the comandos repair their suits? How do they manage their ammo? Where's this 'company' that I keep hearing about, are they defending their base of operations? I'd love to be 'in charge' of all that, telling troops to equip this and that, sending them here or there, while being slightly in control, being able to tell them their orders. OH also, collecting Intel, and being able to change my troops set up or 'mind set' with it, like 'set up a sniper position here' or 'ambush this corridor' or whatever... ya know? That, to me, would be a freaking fun game ^^

It desperately needs an undo button though. I can't believe how often I have had to restart missions now because I accidently clicked 'reload' on my shotgun instead of fire, or gave a trooper quickness instead of shield, or a thousand similar misclicks.

I love when I'm down to the last mag and last man and there are five aliens surrounding me. i just say to hell with it.
