Are you really supposed to call the Chicago Tribune on Level 8? If you are, you really hooked this game up as a challenge... Three minutes later...

Passwords are not case-sensite 0/5 would not recommend.
Kidding aside however this is a GREAT game and i am happy to know most of the commands to some extent to find my way around.

I really enjoyed this game. It really got me hooked! I have to admit I did look some stuff up, but overall, good difficulty level and well executed.

What form is his date of birth supposed to be typed in?
I opened the aevans.mail and I see the date on it but when I type it in "unlock" it doesn't work. I tried 031864, 03 18 64, 03-18-64 and also tried with 19 instead of 18...

My first response to this game was "Boring" but then I found myself 20 minutes later looking up archived newspaper ads, counting the alphabet on my fingers and scrolling through DEC & HEX codes...
LOVE IT...!!
Needless to say never judge a book by it's cover (or a game by it's DOS intro)

I cant remember the last time I enjoyed a text game that much. The difficulty was perfect, unlike a lot of the others I have played in the past, which can be annoyingly difficult at times. Also there is something very special about a game that encourages you to actually search for things out side of the game it self to find a password. Not to mention that part was done in a way that so long as you have basic searching skills it isn't to terribly difficult. Great job overall I cant wait for the next one.

Reverse Morse encoding of the message provided by the 64 bit decryption yields the message 'moo'. moo.database.studiocime dot com yields @thalie, a user account on twitter. This user account happens to also be linked to the @MuComplex account. Not sure where to go from here though, I don't use twitter.

"Fun and challenging game, with clever mechanics that are easy to pick up and make you feel smart. Baring a few spelling errors, this is one of the best games I've played on Kongregate.
Easily a five star rating."

OK, so the Runes lead to a website which leads to encoded data which decodes to :MMMM,*,$#R where the Ms are prefixed by control codes. The trailing = leads me to think Base64, but the control characters are odd.

*smh* needed the walk through to try ssh'ing to the other visible machine. Made it to the end on my own from there 5/5 awesome!

The time on the camera in Level 3 syncs to your computer clock, to the second. That's the kind of tiny little detail that makes games like this so awesome. I've never played a more awesome keyboard-only game!
